Based on standard OEM wheels, I'd guess 9.5 inches for right and 10 inches for left.

Stock tire on the right is 285mm wide, how wide is the left?

Many 285mm tires can fit wheel widths from 9.5-11 inches.

Killing all the fun…the Lucid stock tire is a 285 with road patch at 8.6” while the left tire, while also a 285, has a road patch of 10.4”

Thinking of going Porsche handling route by upsizing to 295/315. Maybe with this wheel. And a summer tire, undecided as of yet.

Dumb question: isn't it more typical to have the wider tire on the rear? What motivates this choice? How would you expect wider on the front to impact the vehicle dynamics?

Pro:

1. Better handling and braking due to increased grip (usually not necessary in lower powered vehicles due to lower limits or less weight)

2. Makes it look bad @$$ - evens out front and rear dimensions

Con:

1. Higher chance to hydroplane in the rain
2. Higher chance to follow grooves in the road
3. Efficiency drop

The basic idea was to give me better stopping and handling to balance out the absurd amount of power.

The braking part needs a new 70-0 test. Will share when I find a spot.

Last result was 160ft for 265/285

I may have done a few more 70-0 to be sure…

happy to report no brake fade or drama of any kind, not even brake smell.

I was a little terrified of 100-0 but it was a complete non event.

My Lincoln was only good for one stop before clues emerged the second may kill you.
