Summer is getting brutal! I'm wondering if you have a good suggestion for windshield sunshade or deflector? Thanks!

I am shopping too. I just ordered these on Prime Day. Seems to be most flexible and easy to put away (and space).

I've had a Covercraft w/s shade for another vehicle of mine for more than 20 years. They are very high quality, not cheap by any means. After going to their website, I found that Lucid isn't a choice in their car selection, so, I shot off an email to Jackie, a Customer Care Specialist with Covercraft. Her response follows.

"Thank you for reaching out. I have forwarded your request to the design department for review".

Someone has posted that a windshield cover for Tesla S would fit in the Lucid. I then asked the poster what he/she bought but received no reply.
Since I got a 25% discount coupon from Covercraft, I took the chance and ordered a cover for Tesla S.
Well, the height is good, but the width is about 5 inches too wide. I would need to fold in one leaf and have maybe 10-15% of the windshield not covered.
I'll keep it since 80-90% coverage is better than 0%.
One day, when brave enough and having some extra time, I may mess around with it and cut it to fit.

Covercraft now makes sunshade for Lucid. Fit is perfect. Covercarft.webp

I ordered the "original". It is slightly lower in cost than "premier". According to the sales representative, the only difference between the two is aesthetics. See text comment below. Also, if you use the promotional code SPRING10, you can get an additional $10 off.

"Yes, both the UVS100 Original and Premier Series Custom Sunscreens offer the same level of coverage and protection. They are both designed to reduce the interior temperature and protect your vehicle from damaging UV rays. The main differences are aesthetic."

I just tried out the sunshade that I used for my Tesla Model S and it fits well enough. I bought the Model S in 2016 and I am sure I did not spend very much for the sunshade. It is a roll up style and the brand is Heat Shield. I took deliver of my Lucid GT in October last year and the Arizona heat has not really kicked in yet, barely over 90 during the day. When it is in the 100's the sunshade will protect the interior, make getting back into the car less of an ordeal, and be less taxing for the car's climate system to bring the car's temperature to a moderate level.
