Motor Intelligence is not a valid source of data. I have posted about them before, but by their own admission, they simply make things up, and their errors are significantly worse for small brands.

In short: those numbers are completely meaningless. I wish they weren’t, but they are. They may even be right this time, but we have no way of knowing because they do not cite their sources and have consistently been extremely wrong before.

getting back to the thread topic... My SA now tells me Lunar Titanium is no longer a color choice for Gravity and that Lucid has a "team" reaching out to LT order holders
So not "delayed"... discontinued

can't wait to hear from them :mad:
They'd better take back or exchange the friggin' $200 silver wheel centers I bought to match !
 
Update: still not heard a peep out of Lucid regarding discontinuing the LT GGT I ordered nearly 5mo's ago!

When you make contact with Lucid could you please clarify the offer they are extending? As I posted in another thread, they offered me $5k discount on an inventory vehicle. However, they offered the same discount to another customer but it could be used on an inventory vehicle or a new build. Multiple people have asked for this offer in writing but Lucid denied that request. Thanks
 
Finally got the call from Lucid...
Lunar Titanium GGT's will not be produced. "Aaron" at Lucid said they tried and tried but could not scale the production to their quality standards so the color has been discontinued.
I asked if it had to do with the color reflecting and messing w/ the sensors but he could not confirm that.
He offered a $5000 incentive to accept an inventory vehicle only (not to apply to any custom order) but I checked twice and none of the avail GGT's matches my configuration in Quantum Grey/Ojai or Stellar White/Ojai and the highest percentage matches would have me take upgrades I do NOT want (e.g. Tech pkg- no windshield cartoons or distracting reflection please; or DDPro - zero interest in FSD or cars that suddenly slow down passing fwy off-ramps .. not havin' it!!)

...so it's official:
After waiting 5 months Lucid is cancelling my LT GGT order from Oct 24th, 2025 and will refund my $1000 deposit and I will see what the 2027 model year has to offer or just take my business elsewhere.

I still haven't received a call from Lucid and I placed my LT reservation over a year ago.

I have been in contact with my SA, though.

Did Lucid give any indication when we would see more models enter into inventory? It sucks that they make this decision when stock is so low, but as others have mentioned it may have been strategic to help clear inventory of unwanted 2026 models.

Interesting; Katja was the one who contacted me as well, and during that call told me the the incentives ($5k for LT cancellation, $7.5k lease incentive) would also be available for new custom orders when those opened again. I asked for that in writing, and when I followed up later by text I got a wishy-washy response: "The Gravity custom orders are not available, delivery would be this month on an available now Gravity to qualify for the incentives." This strongly implies, but does not say definitely, that the incentives won't apply to future custom orders.
My guess is that Lucid just doesn't know yet what they're going to do. I think it's also likely that the incentives will continue for any 2026 inventory cars that are left after 31 March.
