Which "radio" options are best (free)?

I just received my Gravity and I was surprised it doesn't have amazon music as an option. I am not looking for paying a subscription fee for music and I'm okay with ads, I guess.

Spotify also has a free plan.

TuneIn is free, you'll just need an account. the (TuneIn) ads for whatever you listen to are loaded upfront.

I just use Youtube music it has everything that Amazon Music has, I just run it through Bluetooth and it comes with my Youtube Premium subscription.

Audacy has many radio stations as well along with Tunein (assuming you are looking for traditional radio replacement). For now you'll have to use Bluetooth until Lucid implements CarPlay / Android Auto in the Gravity.

I use Amazon music through bluetooth but I'm not fickle with the music and constantly skipping or searching so understand if the interface is the issue for not doing that
I was so happy when Tesla added it last year but it was so very buggy with me
I finally bit the bullet and got Sirius XM and did the trial- I'll let it lapse and they'll send a $5/month offer shortly after

SiriusXM has "NPR Now" (Ch. 122) channel

Also, you can listen to NPR content on iHeartRadio, primarily through its local member stations (like LAist 89.3, for example) and popular NPR podcasts like Up First, Embedded, and NPR News Now, all free on iheartradio

Only FM radio on the Gravity.

"Tune In" comes with the Gravity and seems to be a good free radio substitute. I'd recommend WFAE in Charlotte NC for a good NPR station, but you can pick stations from all over. Another overlooked app is PocketCasts, also free, which allows you to listen to the podcast versions of your favorite NPR shows like All Things Considered on an anytime streaming format.
