The Pure comes standard with the 19 inch wheels, and Touring and Grand Touring have the option for 19 inch, but come standard with either 20 or 21 inch wheels. Wouldn't it make sense for anyone getting a Touring or Grand Touring who actually wants the 19 inch wheels to get the best standard wheels, then swap with Pure buyers and get some money back?
The 20 inch wheels cost $2000 more than the 19 inch, and the 21 inch wheels cost $2000 more than the 20 inch ($4000 more than the 19 inch). If enough people do this, the pricing would become more clear, and there'd be less shipping across the country. I'd guess Pure owners would swap their 19s and pay maybe half the MSRP for the bigger wheels, but I don't know.
Does this make sense? Maybe there could be some coordination of this swapping, which could become more clear once Pure start of delivery is confirmed.
