Medium size 22” rear: 22x10 and 51 offset, 5x120 bolt pattern

I don't know anything about car wheels. What's the offset measurement? I'm guessing it's something like millimeters of lateral thickness at the bolt circle?

Offset is essentially the distance from a certain point, so big positive number means tucked under fender, 0 would be beyond the fender and once it gets negative you are going full monster truck.

Since the wheel is attached by the bolt circle, I'm assuming the offset manifests as some difference in the bolt hole depth from whatever arbitrary depth is considered the standard?
