Today I read an article by Bloomberg Businessweek that focused on the slide in sales from Tesla in what Tesla classifies as their "Other" Category which lumps in the Cybertruck, Model S, and Model X There's no conclusion as to why this is happening but often it is attributed to people who have soured on Tesla's CEO.
It is a bit surprising that what does not get mentioned is that Lucid's two vehicles are direct competitor so the S and the X. Not sure why reports can't make the connection that as Tesla falls apart in this category, Lucid is reporting record sales. It is just as likely that consumers who are looking for something in the S or X range of EV, and deciding that Lucid has better choices for them.
Hopefully the reports will start to make this connection because this is the story that deserves to get told.
