I got my GTP couple days ago, this morning I opened the Frunt and the cover of the 12V battery (see the attached picture). It is so dirty. Can I wash it?
Thanks

Leaf blower?

It is from sitting out in the AZ desert with blowing sand. I’ll bet the air filters are dirty. Have them do a service on the car as that should not be dirty.

The Performance models have been sitting for a long while in many cases. Loaner I had was "new" in the sense that it was built last September with less than 20 miles on it.

Maybe I'm off base here. But I would consider that unacceptable for any car let alone a luxury brand.
You'd be surprised at how much stuff gets by below the surface for any luxury brand.

But they're also covered with a car cover, there's no way sand got inside of those

Maybe during transport?

I would take that right into the service people and have them clean it up. Can’t be good. thats a lot of dirt.
