UX 3.0 Update

It’s worth it just for the multitasking and faster response times on everything, especially the cameras. Like every major OTA update since 2023, it has its quirks that you eventually get used to until the next major feature update.
Amazing it’s just like: your phone, tv, tablet, laptop, and other devices. I think that’s a pov switch that can catch you out every once in awhile

2024 Sapphire owner here (No. 16), 12,600 miles. Love the car overall but not a fan at all of this update. So far, there is nothing I like better about his update over the previous version.

My opinions:
Screens are too bright at night.
Can't truly blackout bottom screen.
Double tap blackout of bottom screen no longer available.
Do people really change regen settings often enough for it to be the primary display feature? I wouldn't think so.
Smooth/Swift/Sapphire modes are too high up on screen.
Multistep just to get to Trip Display and Glove Box

Recommendations:
Include option for darker displays, even when on
Bring back double tap blackout of bottom display
Better yet, create a dark mode, which only displays speed and %/miles remaining and blacks out all other screens (off not dimmed)
Change Smooth/Swift/Sapphire modes back to original location and regen inside of them as previous
Bring Trip Display and Glove Box back to main screen

Would be nice if the range miles would dynamically update based on current miles/kwh. Useless now, always have to use % and do math. It's that type of thing I was hoping to see with this update, not a rearrangement of how to access settings.

Everyone has their own opinions, but this new update is a huge downgrade and has made the car driving experience significantly worse for me. And I say this as a huge Lucid Sapphire fan.

This was a change in 2.11 update. Ideally it would be nice if you could adjust how far back it goes. Prior to this update I turned this feature off.

Easier Entry and Exit

Easy Entry & Exit is now more personal and tailored to each driver. Now when getting in and out with this setting enabled, the driver’s seat will automatically move relative to the saved seat position, providing just the right amount of space to get situated more easily.
I have the thigh support extended and tilted up a bit. Prior to the 3.0 update it would completely flatten out. Now it does ot adjust at all. A bit annoying.

You mean the 2.11 version? Did you completely reset the car, phone, and gobs as if it were a new car?
I have a suspicion that some retained data/setting may not be reset when it should be.
We started from scratch when we did cccv2 because it made sense for such an impactful change we should start from the beginning.
If memory serves me others who’ve had issues had them disappear when they followed this path

Gravity user here, so may not apply, but one of the posters taught me something I was previously unaware of. Whatever you have placed (they're customizable) at the bottom leeft of the pilot panel is what will open as default. I moved mine to be the native map and Voila! Now, map starts on bottom every time, cockpit panel is on CarPlay music. - I'm a happy camper.

I got my processor upgrade and latest software... Still setting it up, but it won't recognize my Lucid ID password. I confirmed my password is still active on Lucid Motors website, but new software will not recognize.... Have others experienced this??

Since I installed the 2.11.0 update, my vehicle is always offline in the app on my iPhone. I cannot use it to wake up the vehicle. I must use the card key or the FOB. Once woken up, the app functions fine. In the 3 pads on the right of the cockpit display, there is a message that no phone i connected. I never had an issue prior to this update. When I get into the car, my SiriusXM radio is offline and takes a few minutes to come on. This is also an issue since the 2.11.0 update.

The part I meant was time left / ETA, which isn’t duplicated anywhere else.
Arrival time is show here as well. See screenshot. Just in case anyone never pay attention.

I’ve also noticed the built in navigation has a change that makes the map much usable. It zooms in and out based speed. Map has also removed unnecessary street names. It showed every street name before. I have found myself using the built in navigation more often since the update. It’s also way way faster compared to before. This update is a major win. Yes, some clean up is needed but well worth for the functionality gain.

I just noticed the Pilot Panel comes out every time you buckle your seatbelt.
This might be helpful to some and annoying to others. It would be nice to have an option somewhere in the setup so that each driver can set their own preference. I like to have mine open all the time because I obsess on the trip information screen.

Finally got the update on my 2025 Pure. Definitely happy with the aesthetic updates to match Gravity. I am a little bummed the camera refresh rate wasn’t maxed to Apple to Tesla smooth levels. Had high hopes for that. Same goes for the energy meter. Couldn’t they make that ting yang motion smoother? You’d think. The difference is negligible for me after the update. Maybe next time.

The multitasking is good. Makes you realize how it should’ve been that way from the start. Overall a nice modernization but can’t wait for more substantive new features of the hardware allows it (

I would add; move the tool bar from the bottom of. The pilot screen to the left side. You have to move beverages out of the cup holders to access the icons at the bottom of the screen.

When you got that update did you reset everything? I have a feeling that some variable or constant is not being reinitialized
R and I decided to start from scratch with cccv2 and 2.11
I’m not seeing any of these issues. I do see other items I prefer different but not new problems

Trying to survey others here to see if the slight issue I'm having is me only...about 10% of the time I enter my AT with 2.11, the car doesn't load my profile and loads a guest profile. Using paak and it works 90% of the time. It somehow switches to guest profile before I enter... anyone else seeing this?

Yeah. Exact same here. Once I got a message that said "key fob detected, would you like to assign it to your profile?". Another I got in and it went through a whole "Welcome JimmyBreeze" thing like at some point it had shifted to guest profile and shifted back (nobody has ever used Guest profile).

Yep...100% of what you shared happens with me too...ok so we have a bug...
