Tuxmat Help Needed

What's the primary reason(s) that you all are looking to avoid using the Lucid mats?

(my car's arriving earlier than expected in Maine and while I'd be way open to something better, the house brand may be my best immediate option at this point)
Nothing wrong with the Lucid mats. They’re actually quite nice. Just less coverage, that’s all.

I have a 2025 GT and Tuxmats.
You are correct - they don't click lock.
They do stay put/do not slip around.
They come with clips that are supposed to clip the outside edges to the car - but I have not seen the need/taken the time.

Did you just put yours right over the carpet mats?

I ended up making holes in the back mat…got one perfect but the second I must have done some boneheaded measurement. In the end, I just left the front mats without holes and put the Tuxmats right over the anchor posts. I think they’ll be fine until the new version is ready in 2025.

In the back, I covered my errant hole with a piece of black duct tape. Cringeworthy, I know, but less so than red clay mud all over the Santa Cruz carpet. We live and work on an organic farm and my work “car” is a tractor, LOL. I purposely chose the Santa Cruz interior…perhaps not the most practical decision, but sooooo beautiful!

Could use some help with 3D mats. Based on feedback from this site I ordered the 3D mat set for front and back for my new 2025 Air T. Just got them today and they don't have the grommet holes to attach to. What's interesting is the web site shows the grommet holes but what I received is different (see picture below, pls disregard the slippers :) Same part #.

I contacted the company, and they said to send email to their RMA dept. This feels like a classic bait and switch. Has anyone had issues with this company? Are they reputable?

Thanks

They're very reputable in my experience. Great customer service when I've contacted them. Model years 2024 and earlier do not have grommet holes. I thought I'd read that 2025 mats were not yet available.

Mats for 2025 models are due in mid-March. They will give you a credit for these if you call service. Then you can reorder in March when they release the 2025’s…

Thank you for the response. Thier Web site clearly says 2025 Touring and doesn't say "out of stock". Hopefully they make it right (and update their web site so they don't continue to frustrate customers)

They are extremely reputable, and I’ve personally had fantastic experiences with them on more than just the Air. I have very little doubt they’ll quickly make it right.

I too have had excellent success with 3D. Very reliable.

Really like to Tuxmat coverage, too bad they don't offer the mats in a lighter color such as gray :(

To close out my interaction with 3D mats, after several calls and emails the RMA dept responded and said their website is wrong and issued me an RMA. They said they typically require a 15% re-stocking fee but would waive if just for me :) Really, just for me? Clearly misrepresented their product and shipped me something totally different than what I ordered. I should be charging them a 15% fee for the additional time I had to spend on what should be a very low mindshare item.

Since LinerX out of stock, any other suggestions for mats other than Lucid? I have read Tuxmat is popular. Coverage not that critical, looking for something a little more durable than Lucid mats that also look good.

Have a 2025 Air Touring, black interior.

Where is Weather Tech when you need them!!

Thanks as always for the help.

Quick update for anyone looking for 3D mats. Customer service told me that it would be at least 4 - 6 months before they had a mat that would fit a 2025 Air with posts.
