Hit the nail on the head, and while I was busy yesterday he found his deal and made his choice. While I wanted him to join us, I can’t fault his pick with the deal he found.

25 i7 e50. Well packaged. Was a service loaner for 1 year, has 2500 miles. That service led them to take 30k off sticker. He brought it by and it’s a very nice car. White on what I’d describe as espresso interior. He’s very happy, and that’s what matters.

Can't say I fault him. Sounds like he had a good deal. The 7 series is filled with fun features and rides like a cloud. If you value checking all the boxes, that is the one to get.

As for my two cents on the topic: my close friend is very interested in one. I've deterred him on it because my whole issue with the current BMW EVs is that the ICE versions are cheaper and arguably better for the job. An i7 has a massive hood with no frunk and a huge hump in the middle for the second row which makes it feel more cramped back there than it otherwise would have been. Unless one is dead set on EVs, I'd rather save the money and just get the gas version. My two cents on the topic. I explained the benefits of a ground up EV but some people just don't care. The badge is more important.
