Thought I had a DDP problem. Turns out it's a navigation problem. Any advice?

I couldn't figure out why the car wouldn't let Highway Assist engage. I just tried navigation, and no matter where I drive, the car thinks it's still parked in the garage. Explains why DDP is not working. I'm guessing there's not much to do but wait for the soonest service appointment available on (ugh!) January 6th. I sure hope the wait would not be that bad if the car could not be safely driven.

If this delay is representative, Lucid needs to beef up their service infrastructure quickly, or their customer sat figures are going to be somewhere between whale poop and the slime that it rests on.

Wasn’t there an update that bricked some modems in some cars?

You need your TCU reset, most likely. That’s a quick service visit; I’d call them, they will likely be able to fit you in sooner for a quick reset.

(I could be wrong, it may not be that, that’s my suspicion)

I figured the same, but was reluctant to do one of the (unplug the TCU or pull the fuse) quick fixes myself. I just swing by the Scottsdale Service Center, and they very kindly agreed to take a look. Doing the job properly took them well over the 'minute or two' that I thought I was asking of them, but they resolved the problem in about a half hour or so. That sure will make my holiday driving a lot more pleasant since, as expected, Drive Assist started working once the car knew it was out of my garage.

(I do think the delivery staging team was a little distressed about me drooling on two or three spanking new Gravity SUVs.)
