This is getting serious. DD Pro thinks the dotted line is the center of the lane.

Very sad to hear all that. One basic reference and very important to different systems and sub-systems (ABS, Traction Control, Dynamic Cruise Control and certainly DDP and some others) is the steering angle. My guess is if they replaced the steering wheel , like you said, and dindn't reset the steering angle before doing the camera and DDP calibration that could be the problem . Wheels straight, steering straight and streering Angle =0 than everybody (systems) is on the same page. And yes modules may lost infos or reference on programmation or updates. How I know? After working over 30 years part time has BMW Tech I learn a few think.
Just a thought.

…I bet you’re 100%.

That’s possible. I may have been too quick to jump the gun. Every time we’ve seen this before, it’s been the car, but it appears that perhaps some sensor calibrations or something else were messed with on 2.6.0 for some cars.

So I take that back; it may or may not be the car, but it’s probably the update in this case. First time for everything!
Forgiven by fellow Pegleg.

Now time to investigate on Lucid and assist the owners ? Get trained buddy. We will be in debt forever 😂

I've posted on other threads, but wanted to start this up to see if anyone else is having the same issue with their 2025 Air GT w/ DD Pro... because it got very serious today to the point of where I need to speak to Lucid legal dept. I just got the car back from service over a week ago where all cameras were calibrated/replaced and have not had a chance to try Drive Assist.. today I did, and nearly caused a massive accident on Highway 101. I am able to re-create the event 100% of the time.

On a very clear stretch of highway 101, with clear lane markings.. I activated Drive Assist.. as soon as I hit the button on the wheel, the wheel immediately jerked hard to the right, sending the car rapidly into the right lane where the person in that lane behind me nearly drove off the highway. I instantly overrode the system by grabbing the wheel to pull me back into my lane.. as soon as I let go of the wheel, the car again jerked hard into the rt lane, eventually settling on driving on the dotted line, taking up two lanes. Pulled over and did a walk around of the the car. No cameras blocked. Tried it again when I had no cars around me, and the car repeated exactly as it did before. Every time, the car wants to ride on the dotted lines between two lanes.

Has anyone ever seen this? I'm chatting w/ my tech at Millbrae.. so they're aware... but good golly...this a waste of $7k for DD Pro.
Thats why I never use any ADAS in any car including Tesla....I drive myself. I'm safer!

Joelaron,
I am experiencing similar issues. I had my car in for SC to look into the sporadic off centering of the vehicle and when I picked it up, I was assured that they took care of it and said that they had to update the software, which was kind of strange being that I had just updated to 2.6 days before.
However, after driving the car for the last two days, the DDP (Drive Assist) is performing worse than before. It is confused with dotted lines and solid lines, can't get the auto lane change to work and I find myself fighting with the car more.
Additionally, I am getting a lot more strange messages (i.e., "curb crash is not available").

I don't agree that there is something wrong with the car. My vehicle has not had any issues with Drive Assist until the 2.60 update. I don't let the car adjust the lane centering. I have noticed that since the update, if I turn on Drive Assist, the cockpit shows me riding the center line when I am in fact centered in my lane. There is something wrong with the update. not with the hardware.
I have an idea what might be happening. Sometime ago (I don't recall which version) installing an update seems to have overwritten all of my camera calibration data. The parking view didn't line up correctly, and lane centering was off. This happened immediately after installing the update. I lived with it for a month or so, until I had another reason for the car to go to service, and had them do a camera alignment while it was there.

I thought the manual states there is a manual recalibration that the driver can do for this, requires something like running DA (HA) in the middle lane for like 10 mins or 8 miles for it to understand the lane centering, to be done in the middle of 3 lane highway. Most people don't know this; so I think the car really should be notifying the driver before using DA to calibrate after any update or change to the ADAS.
