Hi
Does anyone know the meaning or relevance of WiFi number?
Someone on another owners group just received his AGT says he has WiFi number 00579.
He says that he was told that number is sequential and that he has the 59th AGT produced since the first 520 were DEs.

Has anyone else heard about this?
Thanks

Where is this number? Calling it a "WiFi number" doesn't really make any sense.

In terms of industry standards there is no such thing as a sequential wifi #. Guessing it's just for inventory.

I agree that it doesn't make sense. Just to be clear this is what he wrote:
my car was #579 and they released 520 dream editions. So I’m 59 of the Grand Touring. I confirmed my waitlist deposit on 1/30/20 and had been on the waitlist since 2018/19. Hope that helps.
Then after I questioned him a bit, he replied:
When your in the settings it’s labeled Wi-Fi #579 the Lucid delivery employee told me that was my number.

He’s talking about the Bluetooth name. And no, they’re not sequential. I have DE#241 and Bluetooth name 879 or something.

That’s the last 3 digits of his VIN

I have two Bluetooth connections - one is Lucid Air 234
the other is Lucid 01234

(made up vin - you get the point)

Yup, confirmed with mine. You’re right, it the last 3 of the VIN! Mystery solved.

Well he just said that the last 3 digits of his VIN are not the same as the Bluetooth number. Oh well, who knows and maybe it doesn't matter anyway.

He’s trolling.
