Well, back from Jamaica after two weeks of fun and sun. Sorry @hydbob but my spouse deleted all my beach camera shots but I will tell you that I would not be able to handle being 20-35 again!!!! I thought I would need to schedule a ZOOM meeting with my cardiologist after the first two days.
So, my GT ding has been repaired, my wheel mod has supposedly been done and the latest software loaded for my delivery on Monday between 12-2pm. It is being trailered down from Scottsdale and the DA says everything is primo since the car has been through many predelivery inspections. I will use the checklist from this forum to inspect and will post pixs as soon as I finish the delivery training. I plan to have the DA accompany me to the EA charging station about 20 miles away before he heads back to Scottsdale. It will give me a chance to drive the car and also verify my EA account works. Standby for the delivery and first drive updates!

I like the ldea of making sure that the EA stuff works.

Can you may be record when going over the checklist for future owners ? So that we know what to check and where to check …

I think I can convince my spouse (Tesla owner) to record my delivery since she expects many problems after all our false starts to date. I plan to give as much detail as possible while going through my checklist.

I didn't checklist my car - picked it up a couple weeks ago. Just took a quick look for damage or irregularities to body, interior, and glass, as if I claimed damage after the fact it might be hard to prove that it was present at delivery. Car has been great so far, better than my expectations, albeit with a couple software-related glitches. Looking forward to version 2.x when it's my turn.

When I test drove AGT few months ago, I felt I have to press the accelerator more than I wanted to, to get the car moving as it was heavy like a truck as opposed to the instant acceleration I was expecting. Do you guys feel that too on a day today basis? I had it in smooth mode.

Put it in Swift mode and enjoy. That is why I usually drive in Swift mode.

I've driven mine in smooth so far-the accelerator is heavy compared to our other EVs. But smooth mode only maps in a portion of the available horsepower.

I get it. But I really like the quiet comfort of the smooth mode and just looking for that initial acceleration to get the car moving a little bit better

I think smooth is too fast, or perhaps limited accelerator resolution, for rapid lane changes on busy roads or on on-ramp trying to merge. Too easy to run into someone.

Do you mean swift?

No, actually smooth. Accelerator is too jerky. Amost hit someone in front of me on the on-ramp a few times.
That is interesting and thank you for sharing. What mode do you mostly drive in? Do you feel you have better control of the accelerator in that mode?

Only had it for two weeks. Have only had it in smooth. The rainy season has started in the northwest. And only driven in heavy traffic. Need to get used to the car before i try other modes.

Congratulations on the new car and please share your experience once you get to try other modes. What color exterior and interior is your car?

The pedal requires more travel and has higher resistance than other modes. Swift/sprint has much lighter resistance and throttle response is much quicker. As others have posted, it would be great to have customized settings so you can combine smooth suspension with swift pedal.

I personally have never felt like I had to press too firmly on the accelerator to get moving in smooth mode, which is pretty much all I use. It may just be a matter of getting accustomed to the vehicle.
Beware of sprint mode because it’s literally like a rocket ship.

If Lucid is hearing, this probably is something lot of people are interested in.

OK so here's my preference: a mode with lighter accelerator resistance and gentle at tip-in for better maneuvering capability in garage and parking lots (maybe just need to improve hold mode gentleness at very low speed a little to match Tesla and Polestar/Volvo), but with full power still available at full accelerator.
