The Journey Ends or Starting????

OK so here's my preference: a mode with lighter accelerator resistance and gentle at tip-in for better maneuvering capability in garage and parking lots (maybe just need to improve hold mode gentleness at very low speed a little to match Tesla and Polestar/Volvo), but with full power still available at full accelerator.
Especially for garage and parking lots and especially for backing i strongly prefer it be similar to ice with automatic and could be as one custom setting. Brake, put in reverse, and now by means of release the pressure on the brake pedal regulate speed. You get much better resolution this way as compared to accelerator pedal. Also, if you think you cant make it, the foot is already on brake pedal and you can stop fast. I tried the settings Holl, Roll, and Creep, but didnt work well. For Creep i touched the accelerater momentarily and the car was backing fairly fast and got several feet before i could react with the brake pedal. My safest method is to do short on/off with accelerator. This is tedious.

I agree the Air isn't easy to finely control at low speeds using Hold mode. But our Model 3 and Volvo EVs do it perfectly in one-pedal-driving mode with hold. The Air's software just needs a little more fine tuning.

I have mine set at hold, no roll, and creep. Once creep is indicated, this combination has worked well for me maneuvering in tight spots that need more delicate control. No lurching. Very controlled and predictable motion.
