TechCrunch and others posted articles on Tesla's discontinuance of lane centering from basic, included Autopilot. As someone who has advocated adding lane centering to DreamDrive or DreamDrive premium, this lessens the pressure on Lucid to do so. However, it would still be smart for Lucid to add it to Airs without DDPro (1 or 2) or DreamDrive 2 to differentiate it further from Tesla at little added cost to Lucid.
The article concludes that Tesla is trying to push people into the FSD subscription, but they neglect to mention that part of Elon's pay package is tied to FSD adoption. So he is again throwing customers under the bus and the company into a longterm decline by diminishing the appeal of the basic Tesla 3/Y. IMHO.
