For 10 years I owned a Tesla Model S and I used superchargers on roadtrips without issue. In May, I got rid of the Model S and picked a new Lucid Air and I am currently on my first roadtrip with it. I’m successfully charging at Electrify America chargers but, the Tesla app shows zero superchargers available anywhere. I even signed up for the monthly Tesla charging membership and still the app shows zero superchargers. Even if I plug in with an adapter, the app shows zero superchargers. What am I doing wrong?

Do you have the vehicle added in your Tesla app profile and indicated “yes” for NACS port or adapter? If so, it should show compatible chargers. If it is selected “no” it will only show your chargers with magic dock.

Turn off your VPN if you have it on. My Tesla app does that when the VPN is active for some reason. Threw me for a loop before I figured it out.

The one setting that I had not updated was the NACS port availability. Nos the carders are showing up. Thank you!

Yeah, that’s definitely annoying after years of smooth Supercharger use. Most stations still aren’t unlocked for non-Teslas yet, so the app only shows compatible ones, which is why you’re seeing none.

My latest Tesla supercharger experience is that the Tesla app will no longer work at all for me. So the only option is to plug in to a Tesla supercharger and if it’s compatible, then the charging takes place via the Lucid app. As far as I can tell, the Tesla app is not needed anymore.

It is my understanding that if you have a supercharger membership you must activate the charging session using the Tesla app to get the lower rate.

What you describe was the previous experience. Starting in October 2025, when I tried to use the Tesla app, it wouldn’t work for me anymore at all. So I tried the Lucid app and it was able to charge my Lucid Air via the Tesla supercharger.

It works fine for me. I used it today. Let me select the charger and charges just fine.

You may want to contact Tesla and see what’s up.
