I am probably paying the deposit for a 2026 Air GT with everything tomorrow morning. I’m coming out of an S-Class so I’m used to a very smooth ride.

Right now I have the 19” Aero Range wheels selected. Best choice for me?

For 'smooth' riding, the 19's are what you want. The 21's are sportier but stiffer, and the 20s are a good in-between, but the 19s are definitely the 'smoothest'

19” are admittedly the ugliest wheels. But provide the best ride quality. But the 21” while stiffer aren’t a deal breaker for me. I enjoy riding bothe equally.

I’d hate to say it but I’d choose whatever feel you like more, or go with the 21”s so you can buy a cheaper set of 19”s on the aftermarket.

The 19's deliver a more compliant ride and I believe are more efficient if you plan to do cross country trips than either the 20 or 21s. Also, the 19's can be fitted with winter compound tires, although I have not checked lately on the availability of compliant winter compound tires for the 20s. The 19s are not as stiff in corners than the 20 or 21s, but since I have never gotten close to counter steering in corners on public roads it is a moot point with me.

Do not think 19s are ugly at all. They cost less for replacement, ride better, corner better and are significantly more efficient! Having said that - when spending this amount of money get what you want - and with the range of this car, you have some room for inefficiency

I’ve never really cared a lot about the look of the wheels. I’m mostly inside the car.

I have an Air with the 19" in black (stealth). I think they have the best ride of all of the wheels, and of course you can't beat the range. Each time I get a loaner with the larger wheels I don't like the ride anywhere near as much as the ride of the 19s.
