On both my Rivian and my Tesla, and HONESTLY every car I have ever owned... there is a super secret service menu you can get into.... Does Lucid have one? Only curious.

I for one would LOVE a way to trigger it to check for an update without having to wait for the usual slow rollout . I totally get why they wouldn't want that as a normal option for the masses but it would be great if there was a way for more advanced users/customers to do it.
 
Not quite the same as a secret menu, but if you are handy with more advanced computer functioning, you can access some extra data using Home Assistant and the Lucid plug-in for it that interfaces with the Lucid APIs. It lets you see additional data like the battery SoH, min/max battery cell temperatures, vehicle sleep/wake cycles, and things like that.
 
There is indeed a super secret menu. We just can’t access it because it’s bugged. 🤣
 
The first rule of super secret menus is you can’t talk about super secret menus…
 
When mobile service comes out, they pull an ethernet cable out from somewhere under the dash and plug it into a laptop. The super secret laptop app looked very, very complicated.
 
Once upon a time, what we now currently refer to as a “nuke” reset (the one with the steering wheel buttons) was a top secret service thing. Once the cat was out of the bag, they officially pleaded with us not to use it. Then they eventually worked it out so that it was safe, and now it’s considered fine to do.

No secret menus exist in the software itself, as far as we know.

I know at least a couple of people who would have definitely found it by now. The kind of people who spend all day looking for such things.

The Ethernet cable is how Lucid techs get to the good stuff.
 
Not sure if it’s a secret or not, but in the mobile app, you can get back the “fidget spinner” 3D model by double tapping on the image of your car. Double tap again to have it go back to normal.

Yes, there is... the car is a multi-node distributed network with 90-ish(hand wave) nodes (sensors (cameras, etc), computational units, switches (door handles, etc))... the menu item you are asking about is located in a computational unit that service adds to the network by plugging their laptop into the car's network via an ethernet connector in the trunk... it runs on that laptop's system (Windows? Linux? Android variant? don't know/don't care) and allows them to look at and control many things... sadly, some of the most obvious are not included (e.g. send the car to sleep & reboot "now" to shorten "occurs at reboot time" type work with less delay that any of the rest of us are subjected to).
 
I was able to increase the speed of the car 0-60 in 0.9 seconds by using its hidden flux capacitor but very quickly ended up in 2002 at a Nickelback concert parking lot.🫣

you guys are way braver than me even considering messing with one of these cars. I'll stick to old trucks for that.
