thanks to this forum and all of the great contributors here, I am finally officially joining the Lucid family.
Had a great delivery today to pick up a ‘25 Touring:
Fathom blue stealth (no bear decals - still on the fence
20” aero lite stealth wheels
Mojave leather - 14-way ventilated seats
Comfort and convenience
Dream drive premium
Surreal Sound
Delivery staff were great, car looked better than I remember from my first test drive back in December. Coming from a 2020 Model S Performance. Amazing difference in driving quality, quiet cabin, smooth. I kept it in “smooth” for the ride home. For my 38 mile drive home, here’s my first impressions:

- I thought I’d miss my Model S. I feel really good about making the switch - this is such a solid feeling car
- Love the extra awareness cameras during turns and lane changes
- It seems throttle calibration makes it easier to do more light regen than in the Model S.
- Standard Surreal sound wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I streamed Apple Music
- The motor whine in the ‘25 is noticeably quieter than the 24 touring I test drove. I like how it sounds
- My efficiency on the 38 mile drive was 4.66 MI / kWh. So much better than my old S on its BEST day. Speeds 65-70 mph
