Stock price of Lucid

Spot on. Getting a service operation staffed and trained takes considerable time. Over a year before Gravity deliveries started in earnest there was a training mule sent to the Miami Worldcenter to be disassembled and reassembled for training purposes.

The fact that Lucid actually laid off service personnel across the circuit recently is deeply worrisome, especially with their "volume" model supposedly being launched late this year or early next.
Maybe the feel the Gravity issues will slowly dissipate and the Cosmos will be spot on for reliability and they will be good regarding service.

Super optimism thought!

There are actually TWO compounding problems at the Service Centers. [1] it takes 2 or more months to SCHEDULE an appointment, and [2} at the appointment day, some SCs would tell you, "you are now in the queue, but it will take another 2-3 weeks for service to ACTUALY get to work on your car".

As we speak, my 2022 AGT is at the Scottsdale SC. Appointment was scheduled 4 months ago (in Dec 2025). I dropped the car off last Monday, 9 days ago. They haven't started to work on it yet. It is "forecasted" t be done this week. But there are no commit and no ETA. The appointment is for a 3 yr, Schedule A check-up!
They are paying for the “ship now, fix later” approach they did on the Gravity.

IMO, Lucid is showing no signs of turning this around. The potential is there, but the execution continues to be extremely flawed.

There is whole string of cultural issues with Lucid in the past several years. Products that are late and not-ready-for primetime, SW that are not properly validated, habitually blame suppliers for technical and production problems, strung-out delivery of sub-par key features that customers paid extra for (e.g., DDPro), deterioration of service, compromised safety and convenience features (e.g., key-FOB), and on-and-on. Management seems to think swagger alone will conquer all. This is Hara-kiri business management.

One would think there is at least one adult in the executive suit. Is Silvio the guy?!

I'm concerned about the viability of the company. Today the stock price closed at 5.93.(equivalent to 59 cents before 10-1 reverse split). Will it go private with the Saudi's taking it over? Considering Uber just took a 10% position and the Saudi's 60%, and the anticipated Cosmos release, why is it going so low. Yes I know all the problems, service, marketing and the loss of various senior management, but the stock price is pricing it if it is already going broke. Seems like an overreaction at this point. Now if Cosmos if not a success, then I can understand, but seems like investors have already written it off prematurel

IMO, Lucid is showing no signs of turning this around. The potential is there, but the execution continues to be extremely flawed.
I recently noted some locally good news concerning my Lucid, but this news was never announced nationally. Previously, I either had to send my AGT up to Seattle from Portland OR for service or a mobile van came down to service my car. Last month I had my four year service due and when I called them to schedule an appointment, they told me they now have one full-time technician stationed in Portland, which happens to be about a 15 minute drive from my house. I made the appointment, drove my car there, two hours later my 4 year service was completed and the tech delivered my car back to my home. Apparently, this tech has been there for some time and yet I was never informed by Lucid corporate that a new technician is now stationed full time in Portland, Oregon. The tech told me there are now 350 Lucids registered in the state of Oregon. I think this is one small bit of good news but yet why hasn't it been publicized?? Where is the marketing Department? Out to lunch!

Something went wrong around 24-25 it seems like. Because there are so many solid, problem free Airs out there. All the Dream Editions seems good too. But the newer Air and Gravity are just problematic.

Your comment about newer Gravity is incorrect. I have had almost zero issues, zero significant issues and zero fob issues. I understand your Air has had problems but you should not generalize from your individual problems.

Glad to hear Oregon has 350 Lucid. I lived in Oregon for 17 years (albeit a long time ago). Wouldn't have thought there are 350 buyers of Lucids. Good for Lucid and good for oregon!

I. I’m in a Gravity now. 26 GGT. key fob not recognized, hatch trim is crooked, and “dream drive disabled schedule service”

OK, sorry to learn you have having issues. I have had these annoyances with previously owned Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Cadillac. Contact service and get them fixed. I had a Mercedes S600, which spent so much time in the shop during its first year that I eventually caved and traded it in for a much simpler C-Class, and was much happier. Even 100-year-old legacy automakers haven't gotten it right. Cars are complex. They need fixing. Remarkably, my 2022 Air GT with 64,000 miles has had almost zer mechanical or electrical issues requiring service. I took it in once a few years ago because the frunk did not close reliably (my only mechanical issue), and Lucid replaced the latches and no problems for the past couple of years. The Air has been far more reliable for me than Mercedes-Benz or BMW. Just saying.

My AIr is terrific now. Absolutely no issues! It's a fact that a few have issues and constantly post. That gives the impression the vehicles are bad. That is truly not the case. My colleague has no issues with his 2023 Touring.

Same. At my office lot there are 3-4 Airs parked and the owners are happy. No significant issues.

Given that around 70% of the stock market in the US is traded via bots and algorithms (or even 80%), part of me does wonder how much pressure the stock price is based on the bots. To an extent, how much the various opinions are being swayed because of these bots.

All these bots see are numbers from what their data sources tell them, they don't understanding engineering cycles, manufacturing scaling, and logistics involved with a plant in Saudi Arabia that has a different negotiating position from, say, parts manufacturers from China

What a crazy idea

That seems unlikely

People wouldn’t just *do* that, right?

What was the build date on your loaner Gravity and is the fob software updated? Since it is a loaner you may not know?

Sold most of the rest, today. Not my sandbox. The PIF probably does private equity / venture funding, too. That's the camp $LCID belongs in, at this point; investments that need capital injections, with high odds of failure and the possibility of going >10X. This is why I believe they shouldn't have reverse split. The arithmetic shouldn't change the ordinary "penny stock" signal this company gives off. It only attracts over-confident, midas touch, retail buyers. Delisting is the trajectory to confront. "x00" million injections, at their burn rate shouldn't stop it, IMO. If PIF still believes, then it should exceed 1bn injections with less frequency (or maybe set 1-2x the Cosmos launch costs aside). I don't know what Lucid would have to show the exchange, to prevent delisting, but these "she loves me", "she loves me a little" infusions don't inspire. Frankly, they depict the capital calls of a pre-IPO entity.

I am not down, on the cars. Separating them from the stock is something Tesla investors faced, too.

Have to look only has 2000 miles 🤷

That’s what I mean tho, it has to be some component in certain builds because it makes no sense at all. @hmp10 for example. 2/3 of his gravities are fine. WHY!
I haven’t had any software issues with my Air, even with the last update that was logging people out I didn’t get that either 🤷

Consider the Shanghai Auto show is going on and that it looks like Lucid's EU prospects are probably dim and cut in half?

If you give all capital upfront, wouldn’t Lucid executives spend more unnecessarily?
