I have a 2025 Touring and I skimped on the comfort package. It just didn't seem worth the cost to me at the time. I figured a properly preheated car doesn't really need heated back seats and steering wheel. Well, my heater hasn't worked, so now I wish I had those things. My car is at the service center now and hopefully they will fix the heater and I won't miss this any more.
However, the one thing I didn't realize was so important was the soft close doors. I never had them before and never needed them. But for some reason, these cars seem to require a lot more force to close than any other car I've been in. Passengers arw often leaving their door open. Especially painful when a kid is getting out of the back seat at drop off and leave the door open as I'm trying to drive off.
Any way Lucid can add some comfort package features after delivery without too much hassel/cost? I know some features on teslas are already on the car, but software disabled. I'm guessing that's not the case here.
