It sounds like it might actually be complementary while in beta, and then they’ll give you three months free when it’s out of beta next year? Not sure, but that’s how I’m reading it Release notes below

Just got the notice to update to 2.0.33 - with the SiriusXM beta... installing now.. says 54 minutes!

You don't need a subscription yet - all channels are activated. Beta was relatively stable - it is clearly loading/buffering when you turn the car on which takes a moment, and it skipped once for me but just for a sec. Lastly, I did not always get a song title/artist even when the channel plays, but I've had that issue with other cars as well. All in all - it is great to have my channels back and they sound just fine! I am sure we'll get updates during the beta to improve it even more.

Definitely not satellite radio it’s streaming similar to Spotify. So far it works fairly well.
