I wish we could assume the dealership that is selling this car was joking. But, sadly, I'm assuming they are just ignorant of the fact that no Lucid has AA. But when Lucid sold all our cars they were still touting AA and at least saying they supported AA.
 
Pretty sure there's still a post on this site from Lucid saying it's coming... last fall.

Wouldn't necessarily blame anyone but Lucid for that particular bit of confusion.

Hopefully one thing everyone can take from this thread, without excusing the scummy dealer at all (and I guess two things: first is avoid this dealer) - is caveat emptor, and know your contract laws.

I know you're mad at the lawyer in California, but, you shouldn't be - they clearly have been through this before and know what you must do in order to protect your time/money against scummy dealers. In the future, you should do exactly what they did. Enforceable contract before you commit your time/money.

The new does not even allow filtering for the GT-P. Demos and pre-owned do, but there is nothing available. Either someone bought it, or this was a mistake on the website.

The pricing appears to be the fully loaded GT vs a GT-P.

I went through the purchase process and confirmed with Lucid, it’s a grand touring performance and it’s available with test drive in Torrance California. Only reason we backed out it because with taxes it is above our price range.

Feel free to check with lucid! I also checked the vin via CARFAX and is new, with performance.

Also,

From what I was told this is the car used for all the real pictures in marking on the website, and at the Santa Barbara Polo Club for a showcase car. Lucid marketing poured over the car to make sure everything was perfect.

If someone ends up buying it from the forum I can give them the email from my friend in marketing at the SB Polo club confirming with lucid re: the car.

It’s definitely a piece of Lucid history!!

The sales associate also emailed me regarding the provenance of the vehicle but that’s less impressive than the polo club haha! IMO.

@Bobby are we allowed to post vin numbers? I just wanted to confirm for @Rogue that the seventh digit confirms this vehicle is the performance. If not I understand tho.

Apologies. I did not mean to cause an uproar. 100% believe you. Just didn't see it on the site for yours or others. I know some folks are hunting for the GT-Ps.

Hopefully they see this thread and the nice price.
