Lucid gravity
I have had issues with my fob since I received the vehicle in November, along with other smaller issues. Basically on the phone with service every time I drove the car. They sent someone to repair a phone issues and the fob issue. I needed a new microphone which did solve the phone issue but then the mechanic said everything else was fine. I asked him if magically the fob was going to start working since he said everything was ok! Amazing right. So he finally gave me a new fob. I thought that would solve the problem. Wrong. Then a Software update, still did not solve the issue. So I finally insisted they come and get the vehicle and repair the problem, and bring me a loaner. Today they called and told me the car is ready. I asked what they did, nothing! I told them to keep the car , I am happy with the loaner. I have had it. I am amazed that they could actually do nothing and expect the problems to go away.

What issues?

Their service process is horrible! I've had my Gravity for 3 months and it's been waiting in service two different times for 2 weeks each time before I got it back. Each time some stuff was fixed, some stuff was halfway fixed, and other stuff was put on waitlist. This is not a good way to run a business if you expect to keep customers and attract new ones.

You can't legally keep the loaner. You have to go pick up your car. Just carry a phone key, key card and fob- or at least two of either. If one doesnt work immediately, you can use the other. I just use my phone as key at works immediately 95% of the time.

Maybe waiting for parts....did you ask why?

Waiting for parts for one of them...The new one they replaced a part and said it was fixed only to find out it's not working exactly as promised...I'll write a post about this issue soon...

You should really reconsider doing this while you’re still in their good graces. Lucid will help you it just has to go within the guidelines.

I don’t want to use a key car to get in and out of my car. If the fob doesn’t work they need to either fix it or get me a new vehicle. It is ridiculous to have a car at this level and not have it functioning properly.

You still haven’t described the issue. If the issue is that the fob doesn’t work, they will surely fix that. If your issue is the fob doesn’t work as well as you’d like, that’s a different problem.

None of us can help you if we don’t know what the problem is. Please be more specific. Thank you.

The fob works sometimes and then it doesn’t work. What is hard to understand. The fob should work all the time . This is not a difficult request. It locked me out with my phone, money and key card in the vehicle.

And they haven’t fixed since I owned the car. I am on the phone with service every week. It is not acceptable to have to change the battery every week or take it out and put it back in while holding down the unlock button or having to reboot the car daily to have your fob work.

There is a process for that and both you and them are bound to it. Stealing their rental car is not going to help you.

Do you have passive unlock on or off? Passive lock on or off? Is it when you’re walking away or walking up? Does it work when you press the button or is it only proximity that isn’t working? What are your expectations and where are they not being met?

In short: please provide more information.
