I basically 100% agree with the final thoughts in the video. I bought my Gravity because there's nothing else out there that drives as much like a sports sedan while packing so much convenience and luxury in at the same time. It's a unicorn vehicle IMO. But it's a shame that there are so many early adoption bugs. It appears (knock on wood) that I have a lot fewer problems than other folks, but it's still a little wonky and I wonder what errors or seat adjustments or AC settings I'm going to have to mess with each time I get in the car. I wish they had been able to straighten more things out in advance and it does feel at times like they've bitten off more than they can chew.
I'm also in the group that hasn't been blown away by the audio. Though to be fair I haven't used the best source material (bluetooth so far). Based on the discussions in this thread, I've just broken down and gotten a Tidal sub (yet another monthly drain, ugh). Maybe I'll have better luck this way. I've traditionally been more of a 2-channel purist so we'll see how I like the Atmos thing.

I was trying to point out that “just” rehashing what has already been said isn’t helpful for moving the conversation forward; I could have used more words, and I’m not perfect, so thanks for the call-out. Look at it from a different perspective, you are a moderator with 13k message count, been around for years, lived thru Air release, etc. For you, this Gravity drama is a walk in a park, so you can understandably roll your eyes when someone new comes and starts bashing Lucid. But for us, newly sucked into the "Gravity well", after waiting for a year and not reading the forum before taking delivery, it is a jarring experience, so we come here for support and camaradery, not an eye roll from the moderator.I said thanks.

For me personally, the glass is half full, I hate the bugs, but like the community and happy to be a part of troubleshooting, but don't expect me to give Lucid a pass, they deserve all the crap they get here, even while we want them to be successful in the end.

There are going to be brand apologists on every forum.
I do believe some of the input made here gets visibility at Corporate and leads to improvements.
I personally take credit for the Tahoe interior in the Gravity having matching seat color throughout, black carpet and wood that looks like wood instead of something rubbed with charcoal.
I bashed the dim whit designers here there and everywhere about it.
A company that does not learns lessons goes under.
Lucid knows really well from the Air launch that the car and the tech has to work, but they chose to launch prior to that being the case for both vehicles.
I have a couple of co-workers that asked me about my Lucid and I was clear that it is a great car, but you have to be willing to live with some stuff you would never have to deal with from let's say Lexus. Neither of them went with a Lucid.

That is not bashing Lucid, nor is it about "Gravity drama." That post says 'they need to fix the software fast or else' which is not a useful addition, imho, to the discourse. I don't even think it was a negative post, so it has nothing to do with whether they bashed Lucid or not. It has everything to do with the fact that I don't usually just walk into rooms full of conversation and just start talking without hearing what the conversations are about first. But that's just me.
Maybe I should've been kinder, and maybe I am the a-hole this time. That's possible. I'm sorry.
But my point, even if it could have been made better, was simply that it seems obvious from the posts on the forum that they have to "fix the software or else," and so it didn't seem like it beared repeating, so I made a joke.
That is not what happened. But okay.
I think Most casuals will think the audio is pretty solid. I fancy myself and audiophile and feel it's meh. The sound stage is very airy and the sound signature lacks mid bass and low end. The atmos is coolish but definitely not a game changer to me on a car audio set up, it's much more impressive in home theaters. To be honest I've had better audio quality with DIY aftermarket audio just using decent 3 way front door speakers, sealed front door panels, and an amplifier - not even including a subwoofer.
The car however, is amazing. Agree it checks so many boxes that it's the type of car that is going to push the sector forward. It really is exceptional.
The software stuff will improve and is mostly pretty minor to my experience. The drive quality, luxury, and utility are fundamentals that nobody else can compete with. It's on its own category as far as I'm concerned
