I've just started watching it, but Savage Geese just put up a long video review of the Gravity. Almost 2,000 views in the first 49 minutes:

 
Still watching the video, but it's the deepest dive I've seen anywhere into the UI interfaces and hardware/software behind it.
 
Amazing video so far! They are getting into the cyber, which I find amazing to hear how they are indeed trying to address the concerns there. And appreciate Savage Geese for calling them out on the software. Not a fluff piece at all, but honest and insightful. Going to keep working thru this video throughout the day.
 
This is a well thought-out, balanced assessment of the current gravity product. They no doubt need to work on software issues ASAP. While many of us are ok with dealing with software issues as early adopters, the general population is not. Lucid is well aware of this and can hopefully make quick and significant improvements to the user experience.
 
If you really want to get a feel in a nutshell for what driving the Gravity is like, watch the segment that begins around 1:06:50.
 
Haven't watched this yet, but based on their coverage of the GT and the Sapphire, I can't imagine them doing anything less than a spectacular job. They're a national treasure. I still smile when I think about the Sapphire track video. The smiles and laughs (from a duo who are normally expressive, but subdued) was truly entertaining content.
 
With software being such an issue, you'd hope Lucid utilizes the exact software/setup from the air and gravity for their midsize sedan and SUV, respectively. They will not be able to successfully launch those products if they try to implement new software like they did with the Gravity.
 
Okay, just finished it.

This is probably the most nailed down review I've ever seen done on any car with which I have personal experience. The wrap-up is simply superb in laying out what Lucid did right and did wrong with the Gravity.

End of the day, the Gravity is still the car I've been waiting for all my life . . . or will be once they slay some of the software dragons that so plague it at the moment.

Agreed. A well thought out and balanced review/documentary. Half of the video is a deep dive on the Gravity suspension, which is the cars strong suit. The key comments however come at the 1:15 mark. He makes the same point I have made here on numerous occasions. Gravity is not an exotic sports car. Owners will not be patient with reliability/software issues like with an exotic. The Gravity is being marketed to families with young kids who will have ZERO patience for reliability issues.

Watching this put into perspective all the frustrations about the software that we vent here. There's definitely no excuse for releasing the Gravity with so much issues after the Air; but this make you realize people behind it are expert in what they do and are trying to do the best. I think they're on the right path; they just need to nail those bugs down.

I would like the UX 3.0 in the Air! Have they mentioned anything about it coming to the Air?

Terrible review for the software - “Trying to do too much”. 🥲

This echoes my overall sentiment. They absolutely need to focus on this to ensure families can ride it without a hitch.

People with kids don’t have the time to read a manual, want the car to work every single time, want stuff to sound good, want to be wowed every time they get in.

Right now Lucid’s very far from that. There’s promise but perhaps it’s going to take a couple of years to fix.

Just in time for my lease return. 😂

Absolutely. However, IMO they are focusing on “why” part- why is the software is considered bad.

The software - It’s just not friendly, and it doesn’t work all the time. Not friendly specifically for a family - which is the target market for this vehicle.

I know it sounds the same (bad software), but I didn’t realize the nuance until it was articulated as such.

My thoughts- why I like the review is that they are focusing on “why” part- why is the software is considered bad.

I agree with everything he said at the end where it’s inexcusable to call yourself a luxury brand but release a car with tons of known problems. I also liked how he said they did a bunch of things poorly, instead of a few things exceptionally. The Atmos is a great example. Why? Nobody wants that, give us a 5 band EQ you cowards! Facial login? Okay I’d rather have interior that doesn’t rattle.

But thy somehow 200% nailed the driving experience which truly is world class.
