Car veers off San Diego freeway ramp, lands on embankment; 1 person killed
A car veered off a San Diego freeway ramp and crashed early Thursday morning, resulting in the death of one person.

It looks sort of like one, but the picture is hazy. @californiaboy935, weird sense of humor! That's close to home for me. I'm trying to think of the people with red Lucids in San Diego. I hope we haven't lost someone I know.Title aside, the picture is clearly a Lucid
Oh, it wasn't meant to be humorous, I usually hear it at funerals. I just played it to honor our fallen brother or sister. I too hope we haven't lost anyone we know. But the loss of anyone is terrible. It looks sort of like one, but the picture is hazy. @californiaboy935, weird sense of humor! That's close to home for me. It's a Lucid....very clear. How many times have you been asked if your Lucid was a Tesla? Cops have no ideaIt's awful that someone was killed, but why the thread title? The article says it was a Tesla driver.
From the hood vent cutouts, it is for sure a Lucid. It's a Lucid....very clear. How many times have you been asked if your Lucid was a Tesla? Cops have no idea

How do you explain the cutouts on the hood?I own a Tesla Model S and a Lucid Air. The car looks to me to be a Tesla.
For one thing, the red car has a black door handle, as do newer Teslas. Lucid door handles match the body color. (You can dimly make out the door handle on the picture posted on the ABC Channel 10 website in San Diego.)
And I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss cops as not knowing car brands. For one thing, they stop a LOT of cars. Also, one of the first things a cop would do at an accident scene is run the license plate of the car which would indicate the make of the car.
The door handles alone is enough to determine it's a Lucid, also I am very nosy and watch my service techs do maintenance on my Lucid and I recognize many of those front pieces, and parts under the frunk. To me personally it definitely appears to be a Lucid.I own a Tesla Model S and a Lucid Air. The car looks to me to be a Tesla.

Actually, I haven't. One person asked me if it was the anti-Tesla.It's a Lucid....very clear. How many times have you been asked if your Lucid was a Tesla? Cops have no idea
