In an attempt to utilize the rear passenger USB-C ports for charging, I have encountered intermittent power supply issues. Initially, I suspected a cable malfunction, but this problem persisted despite using three distinct cables. However, the charging function is consistent when using the same cables in the front seats. Notably, the ports occasionally become functional without any apparent cause.
Is it like there's pressure sensor on rear seats ? when occupied it enables the charging ports to operate.

Mine is similar on my 2022 GT. First time I used the rear seat usb c ports. They started charging but then stopped. Moved the cables to the front and they charged the same phones without an issue. What ended up being the problem for you?

Have you tested this? Seems easy to test…

My boys were in the back seat and the temperature control for the back was on. I assume they are all driven by the same sensor?

Should be! But I don’t have any actual clue.

I would expect that if the dash showed green seats then the car recognized rear passengers that were buckled. If t he dash didn’t show occupancy then that should confirm if it can identify the existence of rear passengers that were.
