Rear emergency braking unavailable

Just got the same error just when I was starting to back out of a parking space yesterday. The warning went away and did not re-appear after putting the gear back to park, and then reverse, so it was momentary. SW glitch?

I'm getting a warning "Rear emergency Breaking Unavailable". See the enclosed picture. A reboot of the car does not clear it. I showed up only when we went to back the car up out of the garage.

Does anyone know what this means?

I contacted service, who had no idea, and I am waiting for Milbrea to call back.

Shockingly, after almost 2 years and virtually zero problems with my car (I still say best EV in the US market) I got the same error yesterday. Tried resetting and all a few times...nothing worked. I was set to call service on Monday. Then I took my car for a car wash (snow and salt) and now the error is gone. Fascinating...not sure if it will work for others or if it will happen again, so just FYI for now.

It does have a happy ending though. The display came back after performing a reset...5 hours later. Apparently that's how long a reset takes on this truck

I received the same message yesterday with only 2k miles is there a quick fix or is this a customer service only issue?
