Got the Rangexchange cable from the rewards store and figured I'd test it out. Giving it a whirl charging my wife's GV60 and it seems to be working great!

It's a simple thing, but kind of a minor miracle when you use it for the first time. Handy to have.

So, I have an unusual request. Is anyone in the SF Bay Area willing to rent me their RangeXchange for a week?

I went to buy the cable, learned it was backordered, and also learned that my mobile charge unit that came with my '23 car is incompatible.

My wife is taking her Ioniq 5 to Gold Country to support a girls' church camp at 9,000 feet. It includes a week of shuttling girls to trailheads all outside the reach of charging infrastructure, and then driving them home. Its marginal that she can do all that, and then get back to Sonora where she can charge her car at a Tesla SC for the trip home.

I was planning on meeting her midweek and topping off her car, but unless I can find a RangeXchange cable to rent, I won't be able to do that. And she'll have to realy on a bit of luck.

Thanks to anyone who might be willing to help :-)

Happy to help. DM me.

Hi, do you still have the RangeXchange?
WHo are you asking?

As it turned out,my wife didnt' need to shuttle hikers as originally planned, ergo,I never borrowed the cable. It was going to be 8 hours of driving and charging, but I'm actually a little sad I wasn't able to do it. But I'm sure @borski and @DeaneG have their cables.

They're looking to buy. I'm not selling mine, unfortunately.

I'm definitely holding on to mine.
