Those expanding compact spares are pretty cool. Wish I had one for my Gravity.
Love the way that Rivian left a well for it under the rear floor divider.

The only issue with those option is they aren’t space saving spares. Better than nothing, but having a space saving option would be nice.

I’ve got a spare in the well of my frunk, along with a jack, tire repair kit, inflator, glass repair kit and a bunch of other “just in case” stuff. And I still have the top on the frunk compartment for misc storage

I've got an EZ Spare for trips to the far reaches of the earth (OK, upper peninsula in Michigan), but don't carry it around normally.

Truly. Though it looks like they’re still limited to only 50 MPH, like the ones available for us (which do fit in the Frunk).

Both of the ones I linked are compact spares, just like what Rivian is offering.

The Rivian spare has collapsible side walls so it gets even smaller diameter wise (I have one on my R1S) and must be inflated before use. The compact spare from EZ-spare is small, but doesn't collapse and for the Air does fit in the sub frunk area.

Understood, just mentioning it would be nice if there were a collapsible space saving option for the Lucid.
