2025 Lucid Air
I got my 2025 Lucid Air about three months ago. Both my wife and created profiles. When I get into the car alone, there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to which profile the car goes to. Probably about 50% my profile, 50% my wife's profile. I have read on here about couples having this issue when they both get into the car at the same time, however in my case my wife actually rarely rides with me. It will sometime select my wife's profile when I get into the car in the garage when she is in the house, but also sometimes when I am leaving my office to come home at night (9 miles away from where she is at home), and on one occasion the car selected her profile incorrectly when I was at home and she was traveling 200 miles away. Does anyone else have this problem and any solutions?

The system is still not great.

My advice would be to unlink profiles from both of your sets of keys and mobile phones. Then change profiles manually. It sucks, but it's consistent.

Oh, and whoever is the "owner" profile will likely have their preferred profile selected whenever they were the last to use the car. But the other person will often times be switched back to the "owner" profile randomly when they get back into the car.

Like I said, it's not great. I've been banging this drum with Lucid since I got the car. It's a big problem if you have two different drivers who regularly use the car.

My wife & I have a similar problem. As often as not when I drive the car it will select her profile weather she is with me or not though she usually is with me. She seldom drives the car so not sure if she gets my profile but on the few occasions she drove when we were together it always picked her profile. Our solution after a year owning the car is to sell it for this & numerous other software issues we can no longer tolerate.

The easiest way around this problem is to unlink all profiles from keys and just use the primary one i.e. typically the male who is taller so they don't get squashed. But yes, go ahead and sell the car if you so choose.
