RESOLVED Quantum Gray Roof Wrap

I would like to wrap the roof and mirrors on my car but want it to match the car color. Anyone know if there's a wrap that matches the Quantum Gray?

You might have to consult with the people doing the wrap to see what brand(s) of film they carry first?

Matching paint 100% with a vinyl wrap is almost impossible so I would have a certain level of expectation going into it. That being said, a color that resembles the Quantum Grey closely is 3M's Gloss Anthracite G201.

There is a thread on this subject from a while ago. Several of us with Quantum Grey Lucids opted to go with a gloss black wrap and to do a full chrome delete with the same color on the balance of the platinum trim pieces. All of us were very happy with the result.

Keep in mind that the wrap is a much thinner material than PPF. Several of us PPF’d over the wrap to extend the useful life of the color change. While some manufacturers of PPF offer a gloss black PPF, it may be difficult to slip that product under some of the platinum trim pieces that require a color change. My PPF installer advised me to wrap first to ensure a good result.

It’s been 18 months and continues to look great. But, I do hand wash the car.
