Pure vinyl driver seat has a hole/ tear

Interior Auto in Schenectady quoted $350 to repair.
That is a total ripoff. I’ve had bigger cuts than that fixed for under $100. Ask any of the local luxury car dealers who they use for reconditioning on trade ins and then call them directly.

Follow-up: used a sliver of wood to apply a drop of “Loctite Vinyl, Fabric & Plastic” transparent flexible adhesive to underside of the tear, and being careful not to schmear any onto seat upholstery itself, and then pressed it down in place. Cure time is 30 minutes.

It seems to have done the trick and now the tear is virtually invisible.

Let’s hope it stands the test of time.

I already did and they are going to get back to me this week hopefully with a solution.
Did Lucid cover this under warranty? Mine ripped after 8 months and 9k miles. Service guy says it’s only covered for 500 miles.

Ours was just replaced with 52k miles on it. just last month. Order said “defective material” but we were one of first Pure delivered so idk if the material changed after that run.
