Preparation & what to expect: 12,000 mile maintenence

I have scheduled my first 12,000 mile maintenance. Lucid will send their mobile maintenance guy to my house in a few days. What should I expect? Any hints or best practices from you experienced Lucid owners? Any preparation on my part?

I've always taken mine to a service facility for its annual maintenance. It was kind of a non-event, and cost about $500. They'll change your visor batteries, and I believe fob batteries, as part of the service.

Thanks for your thoughts. Although I had read the manual, I got conflicting advice about maintenance intervals from LM. The manual says every year or 1200 miles, whichever comes first. In the case of changing brake fluid, the manual says every 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first. I bought the car used at one year old and only 1647 miles. LM told me that they only do maintenance after 12,000 miles. Needless to say this contradicts the manual. Hence my trepidation about relying on the manual. What do you suggest about changing the brake fluid? Any other thoughts?

I will call them back and ask if they change brake fluid at home cause you are obviously in time frame not mileage. Just got my first annual inspection and was short on mileage by about 600 km and the SC advisor told me to not overview annual for mileage even if the first check was free. I was 10 days past due. They advise me that they check wheels alignment but will have to pay if needed. This is Canada but checking item should be the same. Here's what you can expect...

Interesting. The manual says the car will notify when it's time for the service (12mo or 12k miles, whichever comes first). I recently hit 12k miles (though only 8.5 months in) and my car didn't notify of anything.

Does it only notify after 12 months?

I honestly have no idea. I don't think I've ever seen a notification, heh.

No notification showed up. I was watching my kilometers and realized that I was close to my first inspection and call SC who told me I was due by calendar date anyway
