Pothole leads to Headlight leveling fault detected

Just after I report a unique issue with my steering wheel, I’d like to report what seems to be a unique error: Headlight leveling fault detected

Got this after hitting a pothole. Plan to see if I can get it looked at asap this week.

Any advice or thoughts welcome!

Perhaps a sensor connection became loosened by the impact.

I read somewhere in the forum that sometimes it self-corrects after a sleep.

A couple other people reported this recently, and it cleared on its own after a while.

I just hit an unmarked dip in a street and got this warning light. I am going to wait and see if it self corrects after a sleep. I am always checking the owners forum for tips before panicking. Wish me luck.

I was out of town for a day so my car got a good long sleep. The error cleared! I feel lucky!

They are self-leveling, so that makes sense.
