I searched first! I just got my 26 Air back from service and it’s stuck on enter PIN to drive.

I have rebooted several times and also deleted and readded my phone key.

Anyone have any other ideas?

Is it possible your PIN has been reset? Have you called Customer Care?

My PIN works, but it makes me do it every time I drive like it’s on valet mode. It’s not enable though.

I tried calling the service department but no answer so I asked here.

This happens when it doesn’t recognize your key. Try re-pairing your mobile app or fob.

It recognizes fob ok, I repaired my phone and changed password and still does it. I’ll wait for a call from service I guess.
That’s a weird one. Not the guest profile?

nope don't even have one.

if service figures it out I'll post it up but hopefully someone has been through this. Its weird too I have never had this happen.
My 2022 AGT ask for my PIN periodically, no rhythm or reason. After a while, it goes away. But then it comes back, again no rhythm or reason. It has been that way for 3+ years. Annoying!

I used to get this when the bluetooth connection wasn't working properly. It would unlock the car but then wouldn't recognize the phone. It was really odd. I removed and re-added the mobile key. I've also logged out of the car and logged back in to get it recognize my account properly.

oh well now they're shipping my car to Utah since Rocklin damaged the car and has to have a body shop to fix it.

105 days out of service-whats another dozen or so?

Lucid is not a serious company.
In what life did you piss someone off so bad …

It’s almost like they laid off a bunch of service people and they’re stretched so thin that avoidable mistakes keep happening
To be fair, I know of multiple people who have had service in the past few months, myself included, with no issues other than delayed scheduling.

You seem to run into bad luck often. That’s not your fault, but I do believe that’s true in this case.

You're right, but shouldn't Lucid do due diligence to make sure someone like this's car is 100% fixed without any new issue introduced (this should actually be done for everyone) before returning it to him. What's the point of never ending service. Give the guy a break. I certainly won't tolerate this much mishap.

You’d think so. I’m not even going in to what happened but it was all preventable with any sort of decent QA process that actually checks repairs match requests. They did admit fault, and apologize, but that doesn’t help me at all.

For example, their tech said he tested an iPhone for a phone key-but there was only android in the car (they left their phone paired…) and with an iPhone it’s now demanding a PIN.

I never gave them the PIN and they didn’t ask for it. So…how did the tech ever test an iPhone? Impossible.

I said neither that I was happy about the situation nor that I would be happy with it if I were him.

It isn’t supposed to ask for a PIN when pairing a new mobile device. It’s possible they did test it, as they wouldn’t need your PIN. That appears to be a symptom.

At this point they don’t know and are shipping it back to California. The service manager explained to me he witnessed the test and I believe him. I’m in a weird place where Lucid legal has put everything squarely as service incompetence, but Service disagrees. So I’m in the middle and don’t know.

That, unfortunately, I cannot help with. <3

Talked to service today. They’ve now seen other cars start doing this since the last update. Air tourings asking for PINs that never set them, they don’t know why. I hinted it might be their awful software 😂
