Phone charging accessories and other new owner questions

Hey everyone,


New Gravity GT owner here. I’ve only had the car for a few days, but so far I’m absolutely loving it.

I previously had an original Air Dream Edition, which I ended up selling because the software experience was pretty rough at the time. It’s been great to see how much Lucid has improved things since then.

I did have a couple of questions I’m hoping the group can help with. First, I’m not loving the wireless charger. My phone gets pretty warm, and the connection has been inconsistent. Has anyone found a good MagSafe option to mount behind one of the displays, or maybe somewhere else in the cabin that works well?

Also, I cannot for the life of me find the setting that keeps the car at its highest suspension setting while in Park. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate it.

You could just grab any MagSafe puck and put it under the center console, since it slides forward?

Absolutely, but I'd like ot be able to mount it so it's visible.

Your question is not unusual on this forum. It's funny, since I've never had a problem with my charger. I don't pay much attention to its speed, but I know I have more charge at the end of my trip than I had before I started. Of course, for a truly powerful charge, just use the usb-c and place it in the same tray.

For highest suspension in park, go to "settings", "vehicle", "easy entry/exit" and you can make the adjustment. Just realize it is not instantaneous - once you place it in park, it won't raise up immediately, so you still run the chance of hitting a high curb when the passenger door is opened.

I was looking for a clean-looking way (relatively) to mount my phone until the Apple CarPlay/Android Auto.

After testing out a few different options, this is the mount location and the simple phone mount that works for me:
Lamicall Car Vent Mount
($10 w/ promo code LAMICV09T - Actually a wireless charger too, although I'm only using it as a mount)

The air vent hook grabs well to the back of the Clearview Cockpit plastic trim piece, and the rubber padding gives it a snug fit on the screen's bottom edge.

Correct, the suspension raises once you put the vehicle in park and undo your drivers seatbelt. Its kinda slow, my kids are able to unbuckle, get out the of the 3rd row and open the door and jump out before it finishes. Once you open the door it stops raising, and finishes once the door is closed.
