I’m on iOS and can confirm I’m getting this notification as well. I think it’s a good addition so that the battery doesn’t drain via waking the vehicle every time you get close to your garage. I haven’t seen the mileage effect yet but I surmise those of us with attached garages can expect to see a bit less fantom drain.
noticed the same thing. What I observed is that this happens when my phone or key is near the car. The car unlocks multiple times even though I haven’t accessed it. It seems like the car goes to sleep for a while and then starts responding again to the phone or key fob. This is good notification to underhand that car keeps unlocking due to phone or keys.
This happens if the car locks and unlocks a certain number of times. This was already a feature. The only new thing is they added the push notification so that you were *aware* of why you had to either hit the fob or handle to unlock the car.
