OTA Update 2.6.16

Is anyone now noticing a change in efficiency calculations? I am seeing much greater discrepancy between the range and remaining miles on the NAV to location vs Since Last Charge vs my Trip A? My since last charge (showing I will only get like 245 miles) and Trip A are indicating that I am only going to get like 300 Miles, but in the NAV at 30% battery SOC its showing (EPA maybe) 116 miles.

I see a lower delta, as in the estimated range was always off by roughly 25%. Now the delta is smaller, because the car got a bit more efficient.

This is a stupid question, but… y’all have your foot on the brake when switching gears?

I’ve never seen anything like this. That’s so weird.
Fair question, but yes I am stepping on the brake while switching gears. I've had lucid (touring, DD premium) since last August and it's been incredible this whole time, notwithstanding a few wireless carplay connection issues or slow mobile app wakeup, though I was able to live with that. The delay when starting the car with loud static clacks is really disappointing and takes away from the premium feel; in fact, we often prefer to just drive my wife's Odyssey since we know it'll be more reliable and it can start up appropriately without an issue.

I'm sure this will be fixed sooner or later, but it's quite disappointing and has made me reluctant to drive my car in the fear that it just won't allow me to shift to drive when trying to return home.

Does a nuke reset fix the problem when it’s in that state? Or a logo reset?

Logo reset is enough, or perhaps it takes long enough that it unfreezes coincidentally during the process like my video. But the one time I did it, it worked.

I also did a hard reset last night (X+mic+brake) just in case however that did not prevent the issue from coming back the very next morning.

In March, mobile service advised me to do a “factory reset” (not advising, please discuss with service first) while waiting for a service appointment. At that time, I only reported issues with my driver’s seat, easy entry, backup camera and parking sensors. I learned to live with the bluetooth/carplay/nav connection and no sound issues and frequent need to reset/reboot or drive in silence. Serendipitously, the factory reset was like a magic eraser on my Air and all of my iPhone connection issues disappeared immediately after and no more silent drives home or pulling over to reboot.

Same.

So far this update has meant that my '25 Touring doesn't always want to be a car. 4 times now, I've approached, been welcomed, entered, sat, buckled up, seat moves into position, AC is blowing, music plays and... I cannot engage Drive. Nor Reverse. In yesterday's exercise I noticed it thought the drivers door wasn't closed. It was. 2.6.16 has given me more issues than any gains it offered.

Since 2.6.16 was installed the car will not go into drive or reverse after charging the car. In order to get it into either I need to do at least a logo reset. I see that it is happening to others so I am hoping there will be an ota patch coming soon. Really annoying to have to reset the car everyday.

It's mind boggling that this release has passed QA - if there is any. This is not a subtle bug.

Maybe the car wants you to enjoy the moment…🤣🤣🤣

Please don’t tell me we are now using “Tesla miles” for calculations… ie 1.2 miles on the odometer for every mile we travel 🙃

I've noticed the Adaptive Cruise is more erratic now, decelerating 2 mph randomly every 5 minutes or so in a straight line, then re-accelerating.
It reminds me of the "phantom braking" Tesla owners have, the invisible obstacle. It was not doing this before-hand, at least for me until the update.
Guess I won't be using the cruise control until the next update.

Yes, it’s been happening to my 2025 AT too

I have the same issue with the car being able to drive. Once without any info, and three times erroneously thinking that the driver's door is open.

Additionally, I cannot wake up the car through the phone app. I have tried at many places where there is definitely cellular coverage. If I approach the car, the app works (probably over Bluetooth). If I leave the AC on, the car is responsive. Once I turn the AC off, I can't connect to the car anymore. The app is stuck at "Waking up".

The remote connectivity worked before the update.

Remote app controls are always via “the cloud.” So the only thing it sounds like isn’t working is the wakeup request, which is an SMS from Lucid to your car. If a car reset doesn’t fix it check with service, as I haven’t heard that particular issue from this update before.

I feel hesitant to bother the service people with something relatively minor. It would have been nice if there was a web site where you can file bug reports that are more of annoyances rather than showstoppers.
