I made it from SF to SoCal on Thursday and handsfree did a stellar job almost the entire way. There were only a couple of places where I had to take over and a small stretch that didn't allow handsfree and no cases where the "can't see you" warning light was showing...

We're seeing 2 undesirable things after the 3.6.4 update:

- Park Assist pops up EVERY time I stop. Traffic light, stop sign etc. I turned off everything related to Park Assist.​

- The fan noise for the ACC see much, much louder. Changing to manual and reducing the fan speed down to 1 or 2 does not reduce the fan noise. It's difficult to have a conversation.​

Curious to hear if others have seen either of these symptoms.

Have you verified your back seat ac is off or synced to front? Often, that's the issue. The back ac is running on auto or full speed and the front is running low and the noise is tremendous.

Not really. Our AC seemed a little louder than normal today, but not so much as to inhibit conversation.

When we have passengers in the second row (or third), they're going to want that AC!

Can confirm that when the rear HVAC fans are set say above 4 that it's annoyingly loud in the driver compartment and need to be turned down

I try to keep them all at fan speed 4, or even 3. HVAC fans are loud in the normally quiet Gravity. I keep the rear vents on all the time, as it helps to cool the cabin faster with less noise.

My 3.6.4 bug is with the Homelink software. When I go to my sister's house, I get prompts to open her garage doors instead of mine. When I come home from her house, I sometimes (usually) still have here garage door prompts and not my own. We initially fixed this my rebooting the car. My wife later discovered that if you put the car in reverse and then back into drive Homelink will list all programmed garage doors for opening/closing. Note that geofencing between her house and mine used to work before the latest update.

fyi - Showing that full list of all programmed doors is pretty normal when we are first backing out of our garage. I've assumed it's because it doesn't have a GPS signal yet. Maybe having Homelink display the full list when backing up is a software workaround already programmed in for that. It would explain why my wife's workaround works.

I got so sick of the Homelink issue I removed my other Homelink devices, now with only my house on Homelink I'm enjoying being able to use the custom button on the steering wheel. Although with your workaround I may add the other Homelink devices back

Yes! That’s it!
I turned off the rear entirely and the fan noise in the front got noticeably quieter. Not sure how or why but that’s the answer.
It solves the noise issue until we have passengers in the back.

In the Air, rear automatically turned itself off when you had no rear passengers. I was surprised Gravity always seems to turn the rear on, even if I turned it off last time and there are no rear passengers.

I had to set the fans to 1 back there, and then it is both quiet and stays that way.

Lucid made this change for the Gravity in the 3.6.X update because there were many complaints when it was the other way around. The rear climate will stay off unless something triggers it to turn on, after which you’ll need to manually turn it off.

This is a good change, as rear passenger occupancy detection is not 100% foolproof. It’s far better to forget to turn off rear climate control with no passengers than forgetting to turn on climate control with passengers (babies, dogs, etc.)

I have seen the first one on occasion, but I definitely noticed the last one and had no idea how to fix it. I ended up just turning off climate when the cabin was comfortable. I'll experiment with the rear settings.

Another thing we noticed on a recent road trip is that if the passenger turns the vents off by closing the manual sliders then the fans make a lot of noise and it sounds whistly like we're in a windstorm. If, instead, they just lower their fan setting then everything is fine.

I feel that only turning on the HVAC for the occupied rows is probably not the best idea as the entire car is one big connected air chamber, but maybe there is research that shows that it is more efficient to focus the efforts on just the occupied areas. Even if it is more efficient that way, is it louder? Does trying to heat or cool just one area require higher fan speeds in order to do its job? That could (or not) be more efficient, but overall I feel less "comfortable" with the fans on high both because of the noise and the air velocity.

My Polestar has settings for the auto mode where you can have it be quieter or faster or a balance of the two. That's a nice design concept. Quieter might equate to managing the temp of the entire car as a whole, but faster might focus on just the occupied seats. Balance might adjust between the two depending on the delta of air temperature and thermostat setting...

Has Lucid sent out another update to fix one thing but break another à la Tesla, and not bothered to tell us about it? On my 140 mile drive home from work last night my Gravity GT started presenting a symptom I had never seen before - while in Hands-Free driving mode, the car had suddenly lost its ability to "find centre" and keep it. Even on straight stretches of the the interstate the car would start this left -to-right oscillation, seemingly unable to settle itself into the centre of its lane. Allowed to go on long enough the left-to-right oscillations would get even more dramatic to the point that drivers beside me and behind me would start backing off, I could see their headlights gradually receding.

On a particularly empty stretch of highway (yes, even SoCal can have relatively empty freeways especially late at night on paid tollways), I let the car continue the swerving from side to side. The amplitude of the swerve would get greater and more dramatic, to the point that the car would be ping-ponging between the lane divider dots on either side. On one occasion, on a broad sweeping bend to the right the car gave up completely and crossed into the next lane apparently heading for the shoulder.

Eventually, after several oscillations the car would settle down, stay centred for about a minute before starting the side-to-side oscillations once again.

I was so anxious to get home that I didn't bother to pull over and reset the car. Would that have helped anyway.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Up until last night my HFDA worked very nicely with few glitches, certainly nothing like what I experienced last night.
