Hmm, still waiting for mine. I was going to say, the slower the rollout, the more worried they are about bugs...😂😂😂
 
Drove home from the airport post update and it felt solid, everything worked as it should!
Robustness!
 
Feels robust af to me. No complaints across the vehicles.
 
The only weird thing i noticed post update is the Google Maps estimated arrival tike on the right side drivers side screen is in military time, but it’s not so in actual carplay
On the center screen. Weird.

Apple Maps does it too on the driver cluster.
 
CarPlay has a Now Playing style screen in the native music section too like Sirius or Tidal does. I don’t recall that being there before, it was all CarPlay interface or nothing.

Now of the album covers would load consistently that would be cool.
 
Wondering if the issue I experienced today is related to the patch. I updated last night. Today while parked in the parking lot (away from other people) I was in the store and received a notification from the app that the driver door was opened. I rushed back to the store (Kung fu shoes on and ready to beat down anyone trying to break into my car). I can see my car in the distance, nobody around. When I got to my car the driver side door was closed but the handle was presented. The other 3 handles remained closed. So just a door bug. I haven't seen any door issues since the early days when I still had auto unlock engaged.
 
The robustity of the car after 2.8.5 is overwhelming!
 
OK installed 2.8.5 this morning. Didn't really notice a difference except the car seemed to swerve once. Willing to chalk it up to not paying attention and fiddling with the podcasting app at the time. Did get warnings when crossing solid yellow.and white lines but didn't try out DA since it was just a city streets errand.
 
I just updated to 2.8.5. Yesterday and now all my GPS FUNCTIONALITY is GONE NOW.

It Broke :
  1. I Cannot use Adaptive Cruise or Hands Free Driving Assist. It does not activate any dream drive modes.
  2. It's always warning me imma exceeding the 5 MPH Speed Limit.
  3. My Clock when set to Auto Time with Pacific Daylight is always 2 hours behind.
It Improved :
  1. Bluetooth unlocking when getting near the car is no longer a chore it detects you within 1-7 seconds if you have bluetooth, location, and background refresh on for iPhones.
  2. The GPS on the vehicle is not operational but my Radar detector's GPS is now fully functional and they are able to read my speed now vs any of the older version.

I downloaded the update remotely last night while my car was parked in a car park west of LAX. When I jumped into my car a few hours later I discovered I couldn't engage Hands Free Autosteer. Also, the car seemed to have lost its ability to stay on track on freeway bends. Very strange behaviour post update.

I got home two hours later, did a reset with the the brake pedal and the two scroll wheel buttons, and then went to bed.

I'll have to check out my car some time today, to see if all those AutoSteer, Highway Assist, Whatever They Call It Now gremlins have all gone away.

Same issue here. Hands Free no longer shows up as an option even though it’s enabled in DreamDrive settings

Unfortunately I’ve not had a chance to drive the car since doing a “steering-wheel-and-brake-pedal” reboot three days ago. I’ve come down with a really bad cold. I hope to be well enough to get out and about by this weekend.
 
Oops! I updated to 2.8.5 but have not driven the car yet.

Is this an issue for most everyone or do we have it where it is random?
