Received 2.8.5 yesterday. Five minute update. Never received 2.8.4 because it was apparently canceled due to inherent problems. However, since 2.8.4 for those who did receive it was a 45 minute OTA I'm assuming there will be another large OTA for those of us who didn't receive the 2.8.4.

I just got the 2.8.5 I don’t notice anything

Mine was a bit sloppy. Started update, then stopped. App said update complete, car screen said 99%. Finally synced up but rocky. confusing experience Only my second update on a Lucid. But in the end came out all right.

Curious to see what improvements were made …

My update left my pilot panel scrambled
(maybe because I was actively charging while the update ran}.
Solved with a user-initiated reboot.

Yes, I had 2.8.4 and got 2.8.5 yesterday afternoon. Not sure what the update does as the release notes are non-specific.

Me too--yesterday afternoon

I downloaded the update remotely last night while my car was parked in a car park west of LAX. When I jumped into my car a few hours later I discovered I couldn't engage Hands Free Autosteer. Also, the car seemed to have lost its ability to stay on track on freeway bends. Very strange behaviour post update.

I got home two hours later, did a reset with the the brake pedal and the two scroll wheel buttons, and then went to bed.

I'll have to check out my car some time today, to see if all those AutoSteer, Highway Assist, Whatever They Call It Now gremlins have all gone away.

I updated to 2.8.5 and, this morning, for the first time, the car did not insist on playing Spotify through AndroidAuto when I tried to run the native Spotify App. PROGRESS!

I need to replicate this a few more times in order to confirm, but that would be a huge improvement for me since Spotify and Tidal through AndroidAuto are discernably inferior sounding than the native apps.

I’ll have to check Airplay. I’ve had some problems with iOS apps that have audio. Last night using the MLB app I got error messages instead of the ballgame. The app works fine on my iPhone.

Same issue here, only Drive Assist (no Hands Free). I actually prefer that one because it doesn’t get angry when you divert your eyes - you just have to keep your hands on the wheel. But this wasn’t how I had planned on getting there…

When I first got 2.8.4, I did my customary reset and everything seemed to be fine. About a week later, I took a 1.5 hour trip where I finally tried Drive Assist. By way of explanation, I am wary of automated driving and our freeways are usually pretty busy adding to my unease. Imagine my surprise as my car happily crossed lanes without a warning... I shut it off and re-engaged it with the same results!!! I have not attempted it since but may after the 2.8.5 update.

@Bus Driver - Did your Drive Assist go back to "normal" after a deep sleep?
