Gov should give subsidies to develop this technology to help speed up research, testing and adoption. Think how many lives could be saved. There should be a uniform communication protocol among all vehicles. Pretty easy to do.

With a little imagination, is it possible the government doesn't have incentive to save lives?

Return home 700 miles yesterday, Cruise set at 78 mph , temps 30 to 65.
Preheated cabin on charger before leaving. Only need car heater on 1st charge .
New Mexico to Kansas 5 charges to 80%.
Best of 3.2 m/kw worst 2.24 m/kw final number was 2.92 m/kw. Alot of the drive is flatland .
Used Only 350 kw EA chargers but seeing peak charge in the 135 kw for a few minutes then dropping to 115 then down to 85 at 65% . One charger actually started at 80 kw figure EA problem there.
I put in troble report to Lucid last Tuesday.
No response from customer service Yet.

A few things:
1) does curb rash alert ever fail in the daytime? it won't work at night or in the dark.
2) if your cameras are going out regularly, your car has an issue. mine have not failed in over a year.

@LucidDropkick had camera issues too, and service is able to correct it; his were going out like every other time.

1) Curb rash alert malfunctions in daylight frequently. I am surprised when it works, but as mentioned I do not depend on it.
2) Front and rear cameras function when the 360 view malfunctions but resets after vehicle exit. Annoying but it happens only occasionally, as do the directional cameras.

It may be that the frequency of these malfunctions across the fleet has not occasioned a review but I expect that eventually it will.

I've given-up on the Mobile Key feature because it has to be re-paired after every update. The valet-card is my backup now; the FOB is primary.

Hmm....I am a new owner (2026 AirGT), and although only having the vehicle 2 weeks and 500 miles driven I have exclusively used only my phone as a key. The keys and card sit in the black box received from the dealer. Not sure if there was a hardware upgrade for 2026 that improves the stability and connectivity, but (knock on wood) no issues for me yet.

This update sucks for me...picked up the car from the studio after getting my horns replaced...cameras recalibrated and Lidar readjusted....and on the way 35mile drive home...Drive Assist or HFDA wouldn't engage...horn works though...give me the stable updates back....I'm weeping

What’s even worse is when you press the drive assist button and the set speed is dimmed out. Pressing the scroll wheel will also not cause the dimmed speed to be highlighted. It usually responds later on in the drive. This has been a problem in my car for several versions back.

Got into an AT. Bought it with 1200 miles from someone else. The car is behind on updates. I do not quite know how far behind it is or why, but, service center told me I would have to bring it in to have them perform the updates to the car for me. I did.

Got a call today that the telematics module in the car is not communicating with the server, and they cannot repair/flash/update it even at the service center, it has to be replaced. It is also not a warranty item, it is roughly $1400. I was told that one of the updates somewhere in the chain of updates (however many were missed)...

Yes, I remember reading that story. I bought the car directly from Lucid, so it's a different situation.

I've already reported my problem to Lucid; thus the CS suggestion to turn off WiFi. I'll reach out again after the holidays.

I'm about to do an out and return on the PA turnpike to visit grandparents. It will be about an hour drive. I've just charged to 80% and checked pressures to 49 psi cold. It's about 36 degrees F and light winds. We'll see who's lying. On version 2.8.16.

50 miles. 42 degrees F. 70-75 mph Adaptive Cruse on turnpike. Local roads at both ends.
3.22 mi/kWh This is close to my lifetime average (3.3)

I did try Highway Assist again but see it's now called Drive Assist. Was on turnpike and engaged it and everything was fine on a straight part with light traffic with no exits (DA will take every exit it sees). It was nice, perfectly centered. I was beginning to think I was too harsh; it actually did seem to make the monotonous part of driving better...kept both hands on wheel -- then out of nowhere the screen in front of me went all red something like TAKE CONTROL OF THE CAR!

So now I get it .. Drive Assist doesn't like me either. That's fine, I don't need or want it.
Adaptive Cruse is wonderful = never had a problem with it, only getting to it.
I even (finally) learned how to get directly into Adaptive Cruse, and out of Drive Assist, at will, without taking my eyes off the road.
As for mobile key = I use the fob. The fob always works an the battery lasts over a year if you keep it in a Faraday cage or far from the car when not in use.
I do not see a drop in efficiency.
I do look forward to getting back on the summer 21"s when it's warm enough. The handling improvement is real.
Very sorry to read about other's problems. I don't think the updates are a source of the issues...some people get soreness and a slight fever after a flu shot.

Ha...you remembered...I guess I should get them shrink wrapped to prevent water ingress...but now after this update I'm again miffed because they messed up the regen braking...I nearly rear ended someone cos I was used to higher regen prior to this update...I'm gonna go start a thread on this now that I think about it...

Same thing happened to me three times since the update, engaged hands free driving and all of a sudden got a message 'TAKE CONTROL OF THE CAR', today on my way home from work, same message but the car just stopped on the freeway and the hazard light came on. I called lucid service, they have opened a case, my service center will call me to schedule service, in the meantime i was asked not to use drive assist/hands free driving.

After the car just stopped with hazard light on, i took the nearest exit, did a reset and then started driving home. After that incident, i haven't used any sort of autonomous drive feature. Of note, i always have hands on the wheel even when i have hands free driving engaged.

Mine works 95% perfectly now, I also got the new computer upgrade ( 2023 Touring) , so maybe that helped.

Service called me and said that the car is behaving like it is designed because i was stuck in traffic on the freeway and that handsfree driving isn't designed to work at speeds lower than 25 mph, i said cool and kept it moving. On my drive home yesterday, going 70 mph, engaged hands free driving, 10 minutes in, same thing 'take control', i had my hands on the wheel i was already in control and the car did the same thing, started hazards and just stopped on the freeway.

My question is if hands free isn't available at lower speeds on the freeway then shouldn't the car switch to drive assist/adaptive cruise control on it's own? I didn't have time to ask or argue with the service person who called, i had patients waiting to be seen so i kept it moving. i was fine never using any driving assistance becuase it's more headache than help with lucid, but the service guy asked me to collect more data, so i did and it happened at 70mph.

Anyways, mobile service is going to come check out the car on Dec 16th, not sure the capability of mobile tech to diagnose/fix this issue but we will see.

Thank you! it worked for me before on the same freeway at lower speeds but like i said i got a feeling like the service department wanted to get done with me and i have stopped arguing in general with people so i just shut up and kept it moving.
