No audio

I made a report to Lucid for the same issue. The no audio is frustrating. Lucid Service did the panel reset and it came back. I did not know about the L2 link to this issue. As mine is not a daily driver when I go to my car after a few down days the audio does not come on. NO AUDIO what so ever, blue tooth, AM/FM and all others. This is a new issue. It started a few upgrades ago.

I would have never expected we reach the point where somebody literally knows about the subject yet refuses to understand. First of all, we all know that Lucid siriusXM is over cellular. This has been documented elsewhere in the forum, and by Lucid itself. When you say “Lucid happily tells you about SXM, but it has no satellite reciever,” you are making it seem like Lucid lied to you. Tell me this, did anybody from your studio say the Lucid has SXM? Thats what I would have thought, NO. If you know that outside of cellular the SXM doesn’t work, then why do you complain?

You complain about the price of your “150k” car(which it no longer is) and how it has no SXM, but you did not understand it before purchasing.

Since we are SO into comparing the price of our car with its features, tell me this, did you make sure that the lucid had satellite SXM before dropping “150k” on it? Surely, seeing how expensive the car is, you did a much more in depth research compared to a “cheaper” car… right? Seeing as to how expensive it is, and how expensive things need to have the features of lower models and more prestige, you could have applied that same thinking to researching the car…

This past afternoon I was doing some research into a Bugatti chiron. It is common knowledge that the car which costs in excess of 10 times the lucid has no screen and only dials in the center. From that moment on, I just knew that I would not be getting that car when I grow up and become an investment banker. For gods sake, a car that costs 10x less has a 54 inch 5k glass cockpit! This is unacceptable to me!

Guess what? Thats not how it works. More expensive cars dont have to have every feature that lower priced cars have. In addition, comparing the price to the feature adds nothing to the conversation and is not productive. In some ways though, cars are better because they cost more, such as about all of the Lucid’s engineering. How does that compare to your “two-bit rental cars?” What about the interior space? The speed? This is why on this forum, we discourage people from comparing the cost of the car with features, as it adds nothing. In addition, you broke the guidelines which I suggest you read.

If you need to say that the Air is lacking what you want, then say it with a nice tone and DO NOT bring the price up. For example, “My old Toyota Corolla had adaptive cruise + lane centering, which I do miss on the Lucid. I hope that for future iterations, the team can continue to improve and bring this to base DD!”

Not stuff like “my 150k car this” or “is lucid going bankrupt?” or random, weird tones like that. On this forum, we try to maintain a neighborly tone. Imagine if you were talking to the person in person and not online. How would you act then? Try mimicking that in your typing.
Well, I think your reply was very arrogant and condescending (not to mention off-topic rambling). It was quite the introduction to my very first post on this forum, I can only hope everyone else on here isn't prone to such flaming. The car IS an engineering marvel, that's why I bought it. Lucid isn't a "religion" to me. You said "We all know that SiriusXM is over satellite"... Really? How can you actually know that? In the months of research before my purchase none of the many people I spoke with at two different showrooms made note of the fact that there was no satellite receiver in the car. One of them, a Lucid DELIVERY TECHNICIAN admitted to me that he did NOT know for almost two months of delivering cars that the car lacked an actual satellite receiver. He thought is was the real deal. There was a fair amount of "catching up" that Lucid sales people needed to do on many topics. In fact, I had to cancel my first Lucid order because the sales people did not know, therefore did not disclose to me, that the car I ordered lacked the capability of DreamDrive. Only after I read the contract did I see that. The car itself is a marvel at it's core, but Lucid is weak in several areas... For instance, it took them almost two months to deliver the car after order completion, even though it had been built and sitting in inventory months before. Android Auto (promised "any day now" in 2021), is still not here. My car had (slight) body damage upon delivery, two months to get the parts. Their promotions and pricing changes frequently. One accessory promotion I wanted was available for "cars delivered prior to June 30". The car had been ordered for weeks, but they couldn't deliver it, so I didn't get the so-called promotion. They're a young company, so I expect some of this stuff, but flaming me with phrases like "We all know..." ring very hollow.

Why would somebody advertise a negative part of a project?

That is an issue, Lucid employees seem to have a reputation for spreading lies. I agree with your stance on that.

When was this? Genuinely curious as there was a period of confusion relating to DD.

I agree with you that the body damage is a problem, as well as the long wait time. However, the promotions/pricing is fair, that's also the same way tesla works. I did not mean to flame you, I sincerely apologize if it came across as that. The only part of your post that I had an issue with was the comparison of the Lucid's price as that goes against the guidelines. The rest of my post was perhaps a little too sarcastic, but I get annoyed when 3 people do this in one month, nothing against you. I was just trying to prove the point.
