I just took early delivery of a ‘25 AGT and haven’t had a chance to meet my virtual delivery person. I live in the middle of nowhere so the driver dropped off the car and bailed. I’ve launched most applications but can’t figure out a couple of things. Hopefully someone on here can help.

1. Is there a way to turn off the sound on the blinkers or at least turn them down?
2. Is there a setting so that the blinker stops once I’ve made my turn or do I have to manually stop it every time?
3. Is there a downside to having the Wi-Fi connected in my garage or is that a best practice?

That's definitely not the ideal delivery experience because there's a decent amount of things to get set up before you start driving. I'm guessing you'll have a lot of other questions as you drive it more.
1. I don't think so. Actually they never seemed that loud to me, but I usually have the music fairly loud.
2. The blinker should stop automatically once you've made your turn. If you have it on to change lanes rather than making a complete turn, just push it down halfway instead of completely. Then it comes on for three blinks and turns off.
3. I'll let other people answer that one. I haven't paid attention to whether wi-fi was on or off. Other people on the forum have had connectivity issues with it on. You can do a search for wi-fi if you want to read through older threads on the subject.

2. If it is not canceling automatically, service should take a look at it
3. Many of us have found no advantage to having Wi-Fi turned on, and sometimes mobile key seems to be happier when it is left off.

Re the blinker going off, it requires a "full" turn. So, if you are going off and exit ramp for example, it won't turn off on its own. Other cars also require a turn for the blinker to shut off, but IMO Lucid requires even more of a full turn.

3. I leave my Air in my garage auto-connected to my Wi-fi. I set up a Mesh network for IoT devices and that's what it connects to. Then I can monitor the vehicle bandwidth usage from my router. It hasn't caused me any issues with phantom drain or phone app connectivity. Lucid can remotely dial-into the car to pull logs then.

2) Define “I’ve made the turn”. If changing lanes, it won’t stop. If turning 90 degrees or more, it will. You can press t\he blinkers gently (not fully) for a three times blinking when changing lanes, like most of modern cars
3) It does not really matter. The software updates are made OTA (unlike Tesla)

Ideally, it should automatically stop once you complete your turn. You might have to make a significant turn for it to turn off automatically. If you just change to another lane, that might not be enough of a substantial turn from your steering wheel to make it turn off automatically. I wish Lucid could lessen the turning threshold so it can turn off even in a very slight turn.

Note that you can turn off the blinker by pressing it halfway down in the same direction it's indicating. For me, this causes fewer mis-blinks than if I cancel it by pressing it in the opposite direction.

I would use wifi because it's faster than your car cellular data transmission speed.

Originally, Tesla didn't charge for using its car cell data usage. After a while, it has now charged $10/month for that practice. Back to Lucid, it's now free to use its car cell data to update your firmware so cost is not a problem and there's no need to use wifi to avoid car cell data usage. I suspect that free privilege might change in the future.

I think you meant cellular, but Lucid will ship their OTAs over either. Once upon a time, it used to be cellular-only, but now they do wifi too.

I have had my car on wifi since the day I got it. No issues.

Other people had issues waking the car up and found that turning off wifi helped them. If you have that issue, try that solution.

Yes. OTA (over the air) means cellular to me. No wifi connection needed

OTA means “over the air” and refers to any update that is shipped to the car without a USB key or anything like that. An OTA update can be delivered via cellular or via wifi.
