My Gravity has been in Houston for 60 days and is finally about to be shipped home. Another story. However, something interesting, I was told Lucid is about to announce a campaign for new window regulators. All 4 of mine were replaced. They have always behaved a little wonky. Apparently, about to make the announcement, but since they had the parts and my car, they went ahead and did it. Its long been speculated that they were a hardware problem. Looks like Lucid finally agrees.

What is a window regulator?

What issues were you guys experiencing? We haven't had any issues with the windows.
My front passenger window behaved really erratically. Would go down when you click up, stop halfway down/up. Advance only a bit and then stop.

Are they faster? Stronger seeming?

Basically the motor in the door that adjusts the open/close movements of the window.
Thanks. That would have been my guess the more I read.

Woke up this morning and the driver door handle no longer presents itself for opening. By end of day the driver window will no longer close. Just when you think you're in the clear, the car suddenly finds new ways to show you you're not even close. Ugh!

I haave a service appointment in December, and asked them to look at my driver side front window. It lowers fine, but never raises on the first pull of the window switch. On the second pull it starts to go up, hesitates, then lowers again. I routinely have to pull up on the switch two or three times to get the window to operate correctly. Hopefully they're planning to replace my regulator(s). I wouldn't have known that was the culprit unless I'd read this thread, so thank guys!

Other than that, after the first few service visits that were very close to my initial delivery, dealing with rear motor replacement, seat issues, frunk, front windshield replacement, and a few other things, my Dream Edition (delivered July 2025) has really been dialed in. No issues to report since. I've got 23K miles on the odometer now and the car is still rock solid, quiet, comfortable, compliant, etc. As an ex-Tesla guy, I'm loving the Lucid experience!

Yep...that's typical window behavior. Just make sure they put that on the work order so you get the new regulators.

When I did my one year service the tech said that I will be getting these and will be contacted soon about it

Interesting. Saturday my driver door handle wouldn't present. When I went to open the door from inside, I thought someone was holding it closed .. but it was the window not dropping down that made it difficult. Rebooted; not fixed. I got out, got the door closed by helping the glass along. An hour later it was good again.

Two days later .. same issue with the door handle not presenting. Lucid will be making a mobile service call to replace the handle and all the window regulators 🤞

My window finally went back up, but I'm afraid to use it as this has become a reoccurring issue. But no luck with the door handle presenting itself it's still not working. Customer care number said there was a service advisory issued on the driver side door handles, but I'm not sure what that fully entails and whether or not it's tied into the window regulators as well.
