Ok so not new to EV's but might be buying a Lucid. I had amazing luck with a 2023 Tesla Y Performance. 40k miles of absolutely trouble free ownership. I'd still own it but the useable range was just too little for me as much as i drive. So Ive been salivating about the range of the Air Pure and Touring. Ive been looking at used 22-25s with under 30kmiles at really attractive pricing. Unfortunately i live about 300miles from the closest Lucid service center. After much research on here and youtube the amount of software bugs truly scares the hell out of me. Tesla has issues like everyone but in 2 years of ownership it never did not charge, leave me stranded in anyway. They had several recalls but 100% were handled with software over the air updates. Should i be concerned living this far from a service station? Are any years better than others? Is a certified one all sorted and likely solid on the software end. I know things happen but i simply can't get stranded. My work commute is 130miles round trip 3 days per week. I realize most owner sites are 90% fanboy. (seemingly Tesla was). Lucid seems to have the superior efficiency/drivetrain but Tesla the superior software/updates. It feels like everyone on here just lives/gets used to the software bugs. Am i wrong? Any advice thanks!
